Should Shahadat slower his run up?
I think Shahadat is a talented bowler who has the ability to swing the ball well but he's been too expensive in limited over games
that could be because he bowls too short and wide with low pace and also may be his run up is just too quick and it affects his bowling..
what do you guys think about it?

Shorten you mean, Exaggerated Run-Ups do nothing for a Quickie
If you Compare Steyn's ODI stats to Rajibs you won't see much difference
In ODI's Your Punished for Aggression, Exaggerated Movement leads to easy runs, I've seen enough of him in ODI's to see that he gets the ball to swing down leg side a bit too much he tries to compensate it by bowling Fuller (Bad idea) and Shorter (Worse Idea).
If you mix up Short Balls and Full Balls in the Death you'll pick up wickets and thats where he gets a majority of his wickets

Steyn is at whole new level compare to Shahadat be it test, odis, or 20 20. Steyn may not been a ODI bowler but slowly with Ntini missing he will lead attack for SA with the Morkel brothers in ODI as well. Beside Steyn is averaging 33 in ODI while Shahadat...

Shahadat required to fix his radar.Every over he will give 1/2 boundary ball.Wheter it will be too full or too shot.he has all potential to be great baller. He should learn from mash how to ball consistently in the corridor of uncertainty.

his run up is ok but he needs to keep his length and line correct and if he needs to shorten his run up in order to do so then he should think about it.

If he shortens his run up how would he be able to generate the swing? Those will turn out to be cutters, which would be close to our SLA's. In seaming condition only he might become very handy as a much improved Khaled Mahmud.

He needs to transfer all his "Grunting" in to his right arm and let the ball make all the noise when it clutters to batsmens middle stump.

Let Champaka fix him up... I am sure within few months you will see a better shahadat/rasel, a brilliant Robin/Sajid/Delawar/Zia... Shahadat has the passion to bowl faster and better and hence gets caried away. He will get better,, he cant get any worse!!

He has lacking with organizing his mind. Not sure what to do what not to do.

I agree. But now we got a bowling coach. Hopefully he will be able to bowl to the level of our expectation.
