We are losing NOT because of the non-performance of our #8 batsman, we are losing this game because of other reasons.

So bash Hom as you want, but dropping him will not solve our core problems in this game. I guess I don't need to state those here... we already know that... i.e. what major mistakes were done in this game.

anyone can replace Hom. If they want a bowler, then get a third seamer, or jubair. If they want a semi all rounder then get Nasir, Shabbir. If they want pure batsmen they can get Litton/Rony. If they want bits and pieces player then get Naeem/Zia. There are options and then more options to replace Hom in every way possible.

Exactly.
I don't get why people are after Hom. He didn't do great but he didn't do bad either.

Correction* Nayeem is not a bits n pieces player.he is a way better test batsman than some of em here.

Nayeem/Nasir or any specialist bowler would be better than Om.SS in 7 & Hom in 8 don't make sense to me.

Given our current Setup, with the number of opportunities given, I think he should still be in the selectors minds but not in the final XI. Remember, Gazi might be back very very soon. and on top of that, Guys like Litton Das, Rony Talukdar, Taskin , Mustafizur, Abul Hasan should crack the test XI sometime later this year if not sooner. I think he needs to be dropped for now.

Ziaur Rahman is better than him. Ziaur wicket to wicket accurate bowling good have been more handful one lively pitch in the 2nd test against pak than this garbage bits and pieces player who belongs in the old bd era

Religion does not justify anything. If he plays good then he stays. If he plays s**t then he gets the boot.

Who cares whether he is Hindu, Buddhist, Christian, Jew, Marma, Murong, Chakma, Atheist, Bisexual, Gay or Queer, White, Black, Chinese or anything that you need to demean or classify a persons' work by his social identity. These taboos are killing our society.

Hom is a member of our playing eleven. That's all matters not a single other thing.

Why would one use a fake FB profile for Shuvagoto Hom for 3+ years. He was never greatly popular either. That too posting right and understanding posts..
