what made us to try a new face in a BIG qf match? Mosaddek Hossain Saikat was prolific throughout the england series and afterwards.
Unless he is injured, we are not in a position to leave him out of the playing 11. In next 2 matches, we will find out.
for now, it seems taht we made a blunder in team selection

The only valid excuse for Mosaddek not being played should be injury. I doubt even SI will make a mistake of that magnitude.

future doesn't look good when I was expecting from Asif, Anamul will come soon to fill up some spot in national team soon,BUt seems that they are not prepared yet for another two years minimum.

Asif, anamul and ss are still great prospects but they've generally done better in longer version cricket besides anamul did get a century this tournament and the other 2 have got half centuries, problem is against the better teams you need at least 2 maybe 3 batsmen to click to post a decent total and that didn't happen today. Pacers did a great job though do we've found some good prospects in that department.

Instead of blaming players we should focus on bigger picture. It was obvious the coaching staff did not prepare the team well. Starting from team selection, the gameplan, strategy, bowling rotation was definitely lacked intelligence and acumen. The coaches did not work hard enough to analyze the opponent and it showed. The coaching staff definitely failed to bring the best out of the team and it all started from terrible blunder selecting the right playing eleven!

Next time Sarwar Imran talks big about taking over national team, he should know he himself has lot to learn to deliver better at the international level...instead of blaming BCB he should take coaching lesson preferably at England or Australia so that he can enhance his career....

Sarwar Imran did go to coaching school in England (he was my coach when I went to school in Dhaka), but obviously, there's room for improvement.

Would be fun to see how our boys react to 145+ bowlers

I do agree with you. I never liked Sarwar Iran. He was the A team coach for a long time and under him performance of A team was terrible. He had little control on the players. I can remember in A team tour of S A, Ash selfishly bowed more than 30 over in A F C match. But he was not able to do anything. If you are not a good man manager how can you be a good head coach?

Besides the SL game, the team weren't able to post big scores on the board against the stronger teams. It is probably due to the bouncy wickets and pace bowlers, and this is the same place where our national team will be playing in the WC in a few years (they're no different either).
