Surprisingly the Bangladeshi food is brilliant. You get everything from beef curry, biryani to sorisher illish.

The cold cuts like the salami were ok, but nothing spectacular.

I asked my beef to be medium rare assuming that they will will actually do it medium like they normally do in Bangladesh. And it actually was medium rare.
Oh sorry, I didn't read that it was a buffet. I thought the salami came with the sushi as a dish

How expensive is it?

You can buy pork at any of the Korean stores. There are a few in Gulshan/Banani, biggest of which is Korean Mart I believe.

Buy pork at FarmGate area, cheap and fresh. It is as demanding as beef/mutton there.

Is it sold openly in the market? Or is it more like hush hush?

Openly as this market is largely for other communities.

Once I took a short cut through Farm Gate. One of the worst experiences in my life.

The smell is unpleasant. And they have the black hairy pigs/boars hanging. And one had snouts dangling too.

^You can also find fresh chunks of delicious desi turtles.

I went there few times as a company of a bosom friend. The smell is somewhat repugnant as it is in any other nasty place, drains, bazaar, open sewers in around Dhaka.

Frog legs are great... even better than chicken drumsticks.

You need to cook with right spices to get rid of the smell.... like ducks.

Now coming back to the topic:

What is the current rate of Hujur for performing muslim wedding? Also what is the current rate of wedding registry? Are those considered bargain deal in Bangladesh compared to other countries?
