Path to World Cup 2019

After this ODI series with West Indies, Bangladesh will play 3 more ODI's in March with New Zealand in Hamilton, Wellington and Christ Church (good news for BD fans in Aus/NZ).

Right before World Cup, Ireland has arranged a tri-series involving BD and Windies. This can be crucial to acclimatize with the condition and perform well in World Cup

This is old news but in the original FTP this was an IRE-BD-AFG tri series with no final and just 2 games for each side. There was a 3 match bilateral series with IRE and BD.

We will be playing the same number of games (5, if we make the final), but I think playing Afghanistan would have been better than playing WI at it would have given our boys a refresher on what to expect in the WC clash. WI gameplan is super simple and they will just rely on a slew of seamers ranging from express quicks to trundlers who all bowl gun barrell straight.

I agree about WIndies but I would rather play the PAK rather than AFG. The reason behind in new associates do not have that much knowledge about English condition like the other.

Too many matches with WIndies also.
