We will win this comfortably, let's see if Bangladesh can surprise us and prove me wrong, for BD to put up a decent fight Miraz will have to up his game big time, don't see Taijul bothering our batters and Shakib is too known to cause any troubles.
Would have been a nice competition if a couple odis were attached to the schedule

Very nice OP considering we both have tiger rooted in our culture, though I personally think elephant would symbolize us correctly

Zorro cats riding atop the Bengal Tigers.
Cats dressed as robbers hitching a ride on a pair of Bengal Tigers.
Raccoons posing as bandit cats riding atop the mighty Bengal Tigers.
******Enough of me prancing around...***
I think Bangladesh has to work super hard to make it to the third day. I'm worried that Tamim's bestie--Kayes, will not be the calming influence to 10-year veteran dancer (who is known for his dancing down the track).
Batting needs to click, no question about that. India might win it with an innings to spare if this doesn't happen.
Good luck to both teams.

A special word of advice on my part about activity/etiquette in this thread:
Please don't troll. Don't aid trolls. Report inappropriate posts. Take a break from the forum if you can't do these simple things. The report button is our best friend. No negativity.Banter is always welcomed (in the friendly form ). Don't abuse banter that might be offensive to others. We are here because of the sense of camaraderie we share with one another. It's something special that I hold dearly in my heart. I love you guys
Don't disappointment me,

Yes, that comes when you are a true student of the game. It's called a gentleman's game for a reason.
An enthusiast's point of view.

So Kayes is ruled out and replaced by Mosaddek. Pretty sure Mosa won't play since the middle order is packed as it is.

So Kayes wasn't fully recovered from is injury. Begs the questions, what kind of medical team/physiotherapy even monitor our players and their injuries?

BD squad is too injury prone...who knows...it could be a senior batsman like Tamim who goes down this time.
Biryani, world class

Would have been nice if Binny the Great, would have gotten selected.

Re aggravating an old injury doesn't mean he wasn't fully recovered. Groin, shoulder or even simple muscle pull, can re occur with just stretching after passing a physical. If you have passed a physical that means you are 100% ready.

Kayes was becoming a good test player till recently he discovered a habit and obsession for pull shot (since the ton against Eng during the ODI). Recent test, Kayes got out cheaply, over doing the pull, hook shots, far too easily. This could be a blessing in disguise he's out of the test. Gives, Soumya a guranteed place, Liton a space. Surely, have to take Litton in considering, both Liton and Soumya did have good time in the middle, in the practice.
This my final XI:
Tamim
Soumya
Mominul
Mushy
Liton
Shakib
Sabbir
Mehedi
Kamrul
Subasish
Taskin
I was going to give Mahmudullah one last test, but he doesn't bowl much, has not scored runs at test, can't field well. Really don't know what he offers other than being the, 'elder statesman' - (Shamim C).
No point playing, another spinner, when you have two already. Sakib at 6 gives him enough time to recover bowling long spells. Plus they play spin well. But if the wicket is a turning one, I would drop one of the pacers, Subashish for Taijul.
InshAllah BD will get a good result

Looking like it's gonna be 5 days without any rain in the forecast. Dry as an alligator in the summer drought.

Souyma in the slips is a must. Need good slippers. Catches win matches. Hold on to the catches, if not, the batsman will make you pay with a triple century.

This is not an x rated post.
Foreplay/warmups is a must. Or you will be shelved for couple of months.
