Excellent Article by Kamran Abbasi on the Big Beast of Cricket
One of the best written and balanced articles I have read yet on the Indian Board's recent muscle flexing exercise.

Focusing on the short term has gotten US nowhere (economy). They have to resort to millitary power to get what she wants (oil). Same will happen to BCCI. All we have to do is wait patiently. Since they don't have the millitary power they will regret in their decision. Too many matches with Australia, England and Pakistan will create a boredom once they get thrashed regularly.

I am waiting for that day. It is not far away - the backbone of Indian batting (Dravid, Tendu, Lax) are over 30 and Gang already been dropped. So it leave only Viru with some other ordinary batsman (Yov, Kaif are not world beater - in that sense ordinary) and about bowling all most all of them are one series wonder.

May be we could start a poll are they (Laxman, Dravid, Tendulakor, Ganguly) are the best middle order ever?
