Thats a great disservice to the Zim attack and really a cockiness couldn't possibly be any worst placed. Zim pacers were relentless with their unfaltering line and length and one of them bowled 5 maidens on the trot and with decent pace to boot. They not only kept our batters quite but eked out the wickets, too. They did it before against the mighty SA as well. We should give credit where its due. We have not seen enough of the spinners yet to make any haughty calls, either.

They get support from their captain. Our seamers don't.

Looks like it was Riyad's fault's (Shak's wicket). He needs to make up for it.

Kopa is a flat track bully (not that good at it either), he won't be around for long.

Not stupid at all. Do remember that Mushy is a keeper so it always dificult. Furthermore I think its a brilliant disguise for keeping a top class batsman ready to face the new ball. Now whom do you prefer to smash the bowlers when the ball is old and bowlers tired? Shakib. And when the 2nd ball is taken I would take Mushfiq over Shakib any day. While shakib is a good batsman himself he doesn't have half the technique the top order batsman have when it comes to facing a red new ball. Mushy does.

Agreed

I would prefer Imrul ahead of him although Imrul lacks brain. If Imrul played smart he would have given us a solid foundation at the top. But eating pulses and plain rice will not help you at all.

160-4, its 70-30 in our favour right now.

We batted very well today, it was simply those 2 runouts, one being a criminal one, pegged us back a bit. We should have been able to score something like 400 but scoring 240 runs with 6 wickets remaining is a mammoth task even for the likes of Mushy and Hiru the mullah

We need to get a significant lead if we are to win the match.

Really like the fact that taylor has kept the pressure on at maximum through it all. Why cant mushfiq take a leaf out of his book?
