Hope BCB will follow the same path and few BD players from ICL bolster our national team strength.
I can't wait to see this happen.

I don't want to see this SN, Dhiman, Alok, Aftab within 100 goz of national team. They chose loser league over the national team and should live like a loser.

Understand your anger and frustration Shardul bhai. But, sentiments should not play a part in professional domain. If they are allowed to come back, BCB must take a look at the players that are worth looking at for the improvement of the team.

BCB's media committee chairman Jalal Younus reminded that the board would sit with the fifteen players, who severed ties with Bangladesh cricket to join the rebel league, if they fulfill BCB's prior given conditions.

"The board may sit with them when they withdraw their retirement and scrap their contracts with the ICL," said Yunus.

"We said this when these players first retired and joined the ICL last year and our stance will remain the same now," added the former national cricketer.

Yunus added that the ICL rebels would be taken into consideration following the decision taken by the neighbouring board. BCCI offered an 'amnesty' for all Indian players in the ICL, provided they cut all ties with the unofficial league by May 31.

But Dhaka Warriors captain Habibul Bashar was unenthusiastic about the turn of events, terming it 'almost impossible'.

"The contract we have with the ICL is pretty much one-way. The players cannot scrap or resign but they can decide whether to renew our contracts so it is an almost impossible situation for us," said former Bangladesh captain Bashar.

This Should be in BC Section,

It Seems like SN wants back in, Aftab from previous reports wants in too.

I only would like to see SN, Kapali, Aftab, Nazim and Rubel(spinner). These guys would have really packed a punch for the 20/20 world cup. I seriously think we can reach the semis with them. I really hope that they somehow cancel the contract. But, I doubt, they will give up so easily on the contract.

Haire Bashar, only if you could hear yourself now how pathetic and screwed you sound! What happened to all that arrogant, BCB never did anything for us, Bangladesh national team can kiss our hass (they did not litterally put it this way, I am rephrasing it, but they meant exactly this many tiems during those nightmare days of ICL signing, and I will never forget that) now?
I am sorry that these professional cricketers feel cornered and yes the greed and muscle flexing of slime-ball BCCI is responsible for most of this and I hope they can indeed contribute to BD cricket if they are worth it, but I am not going to shed any tears for them, it's your time to cry....karma!

Absolutely right, Al-Furqaan bhai, totally agree! But I will remind them what they once said about the national duty and playing for the BD national team during ICL signing each and every day they breathe onward!

Well we all know what this means...Pakistan will have a big chance winning this years T20 World Cup coz of the return of players like Imran Nazir,Abdul Razzaq.Imran Farhat and Mohammad Yousuf

Bangladesh desperately needed this, Aftab Ahmed,Shahriar Nafees,Alok Kapali and Nazimuddin will increase our chances so much for the T20 World Cup, btw Mosharraf Hossain was also an impressive slow-left armer during the ICL.

Heres a full list of The Bangladeshi ICL players :

Every board did it differently, We Handed out 10 year bans and no Domestic Cricket, NZ and Pak allowed it's ICL players to play in Domestic Competitions.

Screw the cooling period, If they terminate there contracts Aftab should be 20/20 Camp ASAP.

Default BCCI offers amnesty for ICL players

Shouldn't BCB take the chance & remove the ban from our players?

It is now only BCCI & BCB who has kept imposing the ban.

What's the benefit we are getting? Even Modi didn't keep his word of having a good number of BD players in IPL. Whatever we had, they aren't playing due to to politics either. What's our benefit of following BCCI like a stooge!!

this is already being discussed elsewhere. mods can you merge this thread ?

btw there were 7 BD players in IPL auction, so modi did keep his promise.

If they want to join the National team again, they have to cut all the relations with the ICL which will never do (as Miraz bhai said).

Plus Habibul Bashar also said the same thing.
