Default So what happened to the pitch (5th day)?

So it was the second test this series that the pitch didn’t worked/acted as expected or as planned by the Pitch curator.

Bangladesh used to have an experienced Sri Lankan curator who died last year. This time it was a Bangladeshi (forget his name).

Does that mean, he is inexperienced and doesn’t know how to prepare the pitch to the home team’s advantage as requested by the home team?

Or is it a well planned scheme by all involved in home side to fool the touring team?

Praise the curator that the pitch did not crumble. Otherwise it would have been impossible to stay - for Bangladesh. At least we can come out with a draw. Better luck next time.

What we were hearing from the newspaper, curator, Bashar and Dav was the pitch will turn from the 3rd day and beyond; and pretty much willl be unplayable in the 5th day. That reality doesn't match with what suppose to happen though.

I am not complaining specially for this test, beacuse we just dodged a bullet. But for future, I will have less confidence. Either Dav, basher, and/or curator are misjudging or misleading how the pitch will behave, or the curator failed to prepare the picth as requested by the home team.

Upto now no harm done. But in future with stonger team, who know?
