Default Brit-Exit means counties will lose their foreign players.

Either kolpaks or players with European passports, they will have go home now.

It could be devastating for EPL and football. If they cant even sign EU players without work permit. Lately EPL clubs have made the habit of signing young players from other leagues-Spain, Portugal, Germany, Italy. Now thats going to be tough to do. Also South American players who played in EPL by having a Portuguese or Italian or Spanish passport-thats also out. Also with the currency fluctuation every transfer fee will go up.

Irish players are fine, NI is still in the UK and the Republic has an agreement with the UK predating the EU whereby we are allowed free travel within the UK (I believe)

http://www.citizensinformation.ie/en...nd_the_uk.html

I'm pretty sure the organisations (ECB for cricket, FA for football) can either a) sort out visas for players or b) work out some agreement with the UK government to loosen restrictions on professional sportsmen or some such rule.

Kolpaks had an agreement before EU. What's stopping them to go back to that?

I gather Ireland has a trade deal with England,or for the counties they better get 2 damn quick for the counties or lose 10 Irish players from their comp.

Thanks Sadi Bhai , my love for sports is minimal now a days. I think I needed something to keep me going and editing cricket video highlight and posting them on social media was one, until I start getting warning from FB via sports governing body including our own. Lately I am serving FB ban for 3 days, I have deleted all video from my FB page and deleted the page, no need for that anymore. I will always look forward to Bangladesh Cricket's prosperity, and will try my best to support them when they are
at my doorstep next year.

Pretty sure we do. Irish people have the right to free movement within the UK so cant see that changing. That agreement predates EU membership of both states.

Plus as part of the Good Friday Agreement NI citizens are free to claim Irish citizenship or British citizenship, since a large amount of people in NI i.e the UK, claim Irish citizenship I cant foresee the UK restricting the ability of its own citizens to work and travel in the UK.

Not to mention the tens of thousands of Irish who work in the UK already, would be madness for them to restrict that.

I'd hope BCF members are intelligent enough to figure that out without being told.....
