I lived in Sylhet for 8 years of my childhood. Though I am not genetically Sylheitta, but still proud for my childhood friends.

I am supporting Zim this game. Any team that will play against Afghans and Ire I will support them to humiliate these big mouths.

Ireland needs to pulled this one back. Otherwise Zim will be running away with this one.

Stadium looks nice, big stadium in terms of the outfield it looks like it can be stretched 90+Metres in some parts if they want, but its way inside from the stands for this match- still a good size boundery.I initially thought it might be a small outfield but I'm proved wrong.
wicket is bouncy and green... good wicket.

Decent crowd for a neutral match. Crowd will get bigger as the day goes on...

I have nothing against Ireland. I only disliked Trent Johnston but now that he's retired I like the team a whole lot more. I also loved Niall's tweets during the match. He seems to be good friends with a lot of our boys. However, Afghanistan have lost me as a fan forever. Their on-field antics together with utter delusion on the part of the fans (and their Pakistani brethren) have put me off. Ireland are miles ahead of Afghanistan and I hope Nepal overtake them soon.

I'm supporting both teams here. Sad only one of them will go through.

Nepal has lot potential. People will love to tour Nepal. Can you Imagine if they built a stadium just on the foot of Himalaya ? Image looks beautiful already.

^^Ire & Afg have one thing in common. They both claims they are better than us so our test status should be taken away as they deserve it more.

This claim is getting louder and irritating.

I can see these afg and Ire as Kenya of 1999-2000. Nepal have better future IMO. my heart goes with Nepal.

I also feel Nepal has better future than Ire and Afg. Nepal remind me of BD in particular of the time between 1997-1999 even could say 1997-2003. they have passionate fans seems it will grow. they dont have such issues in the country like Afg, and I think in 5years (depending Nepal does well internationally) they can make least one good stadium with the help of Int' success, and from their gov to improve their facilities. It might not even take that long.

What has Ireland done since they started int wc 2007? has their gov helped them with some funds to imrpove the facilities is cricket even much popular or even the 4th sport in ireland? and they talk about being a test playing nation.

Afg: I dont think they will have any home matches for least 10years. less said the better. Hope it gets better for them.

so, for me Nepal has the better future amongst these three....

10 Runs per over from here will take Zim to 170. Taylor needs to bat till end.

I don think those plastic chairs are going to sustain too long. But it will be a nice place for SUST people besides their overly scenic campus. They must have good hotels in Sylhet by now, even the best hotels seem below par. But Najimgarh was a nice place though very expensive, almost over sonargaon or sheraton.

Now the game belongs to Zimbabwe.

164 will be just outside Irish reach.
