Default Rasel & Mehrab Jr in Darwin

I found this scorecard on the net. Both Rasel and Mehrab Jnr are playing for Darwin Cricket Club, the "Eagles", in Darwin District Cricket A-Grade Competion. Both of them played pretty good in this match.

Besides playing weekend cricket, they seem to represeni different selections-

Narrow Wins in Day Two Cricket
16 May

Arafura Games Invitational side defeated the NTIS team with 6 for 197 off 43.1 overs. NTIS batted first with Trent Deveraux scoring 45 runs off 85 balls, including five 4s.

Skillful bowling by the Arafura Games Invitational side secured an achievable target, bowling out the NTIS team, 8 wickets for 196 at the completion of the 50 overs.

Syed Rasel took 2 wickets for 16 runs off 8 overs with 2 maidens, and Mehrab Hossain also took 2 wickets for 16 runs from 7 overs including 2 maidens.

Although Stephen Regan from the NTIS bowled brilliantly, taking 2 for 2 off 4 overs with 3 maidens, this was not enough to secure his teams win.

Arafura Games Invitational team members JC Hill and T Shaw were top scorers for their team with Hill scoring 71 runs off 86 balls, including eight 4s and one 6 and Shaw scoring 44 runs off 58 balls, including six 4s and one 6.

hehe...in that link provided in the first post, it seems that these two made more than half of the difference.

btw - who were they playing against? the side seems to have a similar fate in FC tourneys as we did (and probably still do) in test cricket for a long time
