I don't get BCB, if a employee quit in middle of his contract, the sheer disrespect was shown. Why would you even consider hiring that person back again when you know he may do the same all over again.

He proved it the first time around that he is not reliable. If he is not able to adapt, he will pack his back and take the next flight back home.

বাংলাদেশ দলের নতুন কোচের চাকরিটা কি তাহলে রিচার্ড পাইবাস পাচ্ছেন না? টেস্ট, ওয়ানডে ও টি-টোয়েন্টির অধিনায়ক এবং কোচিং স্টাফদের কাছ থেকেও ‘না’ ভোটই পেয়েছেন ইংলিশ বংশোদ্ভূত দক্ষিণ আফ্রিকান কোচ।

সূত্র জানিয়েছে, কাল দুপুরে র‌্যাডিসন ব্লু হোটেলে বিসিবির সভাপতি নাজমুল হাসান ও কয়েকজন পরিচালকের সঙ্গে সভায় তিন অধিনায়ক মুশফিকুর রহিম, মাশরাফি বিন মুর্তজা ও সাকিব আল হাসান এবং সহকারী কোচ রিচার্ড হ্যালসল ও স্পিন কোচ সুনীল যোশী পাইবাসকে বাংলাদেশ দলের কোচ করার বিপক্ষেই তাঁদের মতামত দিয়েছেন। সভায় উপস্থিত দু-একজন পরিচালকেরও নাকি একই মত। বাংলাদেশ দলের কোচ হিসেবে পাইবাসের নিয়োগের সম্ভাবনা তাই এখন অনেকটাই কমে গেছে। সে তুলনায় সাক্ষাৎকার দিতে কাল রাতে ঢাকায় আসা ক্যারিবীয় কোচ ফিল সিমন্সের সম্ভাবনাই নাকি বেশি।

It ain’t gonna be Pybus folks. Me thinks it’s Gary Kirsten. 😉 We gotta wait for him until February though. I am more than willing to wait for him, than hiring someone from the first two interviewees. No need to jump off the roof to hire Simmons for or a con artist like Pybus. Pybus talks big but can’t deliver anything. He is still living off of the 1999 WC when “he” took Pakistan to the final and then lost. If Papon can seal the deal, it’s Gary’s job to lose out.
