Default Out of the Box: Assign Mash or similar to be a bowling consultant/assistant coach to our High performance/U-19/17 teams

Out of the Box: Assign Mashrafee or similar to be a bowling consultant/assistant coach to our High performance/U-19/17 teams

Since we have very few coaches (may be none) with international exposure in different age level, why don’t we bring Masharfee or similar to assist our High performance/U-19/17 teams. This will help these players to obtain some real life experience and also help Mashrafee et al regain some confidence during the lay-off time.

Ryan Harris from Australia has just got a coaching role during his lay off time.

@Rana_Melb, its the right idea and way to go. Mashrafees career is as good as over. Not doing himself or the team an favors. Rather getting a coaching certificate and start training youngsters. He's a people person, ex captain, knowledgable. Pretty sure he ll be able to make a good contribution to pace bowling.

But like Moh899 mentioned, BCB lives in the past. They dont see beyond today. If they did, individuals like Salahuddin, Mohammad Rafique, Aminul Islam, Khaled Mashud etc would have been involved in developing the pipeline.

Its a real shame they dont consider Aminul Islam, when we dont have a batting coach for the national team. Same way dont be surprised if the likes of Mashrafee are never given any thought.
