Can someone please explain the basic difference between Rugby League & Rugby Union?

There are huge differences bro. The biggest one is the difference in point systems. Also Union have unlimited tackle count whereas League have a set of six. The scrums are different for both sports. The list is endless. Google is your friend.

The other major difference, at least in England where the sport originated, Rugby league had always been professional. It remains a sport of working class north west England. The union on the other hand is the sport of public school boys in England and Scotland. It is very different in Wales. Rugby Union mad and all the fat kids play rugby!

Also Union has 15 players and League has 13 players in the team.
