Riyad's average is now 39.80. I hope he scores more and stays not out. That way his average is going to be in the 40's. yaay

So far the pitch doesn't look too bad. There was some uneven bounce and movement for the seamers early on, but that was only the first fifteen overs or so. Right now the spinners are getting a bit of turn and bounce, but it's really nothing threatening. It should turn out to be a very good batting surface tomorrow and we will have to bowl damn well to remain in the game.

It would be a lot worse if it wasn't for our best batsmen, Mahmudullah Riyad.

What do yall think of this lineup for the 2nd innings:

Tamim
Imrul
Mushfiqur
Shakib
Mahmudullah
Junaid
Rakibul
Ashraful
Shahadat
Shafiul
Rubel

Yup.. India is gonna pwn in this pitch.. we should have got Raj instead of Rubel.. Rubel is soo expensive.. Its gonna be even harder to set them a good target as the pitch im thinking is going to get more harder.. So in the late 4th-5th day, it will be like a batting paradise.. Hopefully there will be more bounce tomorrow morning..

Mushy is not good vs the new ball, he's a 6 and a very good 6, 2nd innings you pray you get contribution from the top 3. Had they made a Start we'd be at 350.

the inability to make Starts is a bigger problem for BD cricket than the Inability to convert Starts into 100's

Our pacers are nowhere as intelligent as the Indian quicks. We're definitely missing a second specialist spinner.

No matter who we put in the top four, it still stinks.

Who is?

But I agree, Mushy should bat at least a position or two up. Five or six, at least. No lower than that.

Mahmudullah has the ability to play at any position. He is one of the only Bd players that knows how to rotate the strike and play with soft hands. I think that playing with the tail actually made him better. Now he knows how to take singles

I'm expecting a lot from tamim in the 2nd innings, he had a really great chance in the last test after scoring that 50 but he blew it.

I believe Naeem Islam has the potential to become a very good #4 given time and enough chances. He's a much, much better player than Imrul, Zunaed, SN or even Ash.

I guess nothing to wait for but Riyad getting a century. Sorry boys, but another loss around the corner. India will surpass our score in one and a half session.
