Thought I should create some awareness about the South Asian Games currently going on.

We came third last time behind India (90 Golds) and Pakistan (19 Golds) with 18 Gold medals. But we did win the region's most popular and prestigious football and cricket Golds.

Cricket is not an event this time around but we are the defending Champions in Football and will play host India in the Semis.

4 Gold medals so far.

Mabia Akter won gold medal in 63kg (women) weightlifting event. Watch this video of her listening to the National Anthem while accepting the medal. One of the best things I have ever seen:

The magnificent Mahfuza Khatun won 2 gold medals in winning both the 50m and 100m Breast Strokes
