In Shaa Allah I will be there at the stadium, if I find a ticket that is.

Travelled all the way to Dhaka to watch the T20 series.

I'd go with same squad. Hoping selectors too so that we can gel.

Tamim, Shamsur, Anamul, Mominul, Shakib, Nasir, Shabbir, Riyad, Gazi, Al-Amin, Mash

I would have wanted a few others (like Robiul or Enamul), but they are not in the 15.

What type of gel is this? Farhad Reza gel?

cant drop Mash he is the captain. Both Mash and Gazi are good players, just had a bad day with the ball? but with the bat they BIG hitters and can be handy. I'd keep them in the side.

One's, who has to be nowhere near the team is Reza. Reza is not international class, and if there is Anamul there's is no need for Mithun. It Could just be an experiment done seeing what these two can do hence they were picked.

Shabbir Rahman and Mominul in for Reza and Mithun. DEFO

Reza took a good catch today. @Shuza bhai well it's also about playing under pressure and these same "winning combo" were subjected to intense pressure. If you bring in new face it may offset the rhythm. Where is Sohel bhai btw?

Tamim
Shamsur
Anamul(wk)
Shakib
Mominul/Shabbir
Nasir
Mahmudullah
Gazi/shabbir
Mortaza
Al amin
Sunny

Batsmen's: Tamim and Shamsur need to get the team off to a flyer (like they did in the 1st t20 of this series), tamim in particular has to play much quicker and he is very much capable of that. InshAllah. Anamul and Sahkib to continue the run rate at a good pace. Lower order finishing off the job.

Bowlers:- Shakib 4 overs. Mortaza 4 overs( mostly if not all before 18th over). Al Amin 4 overs. Gazi (if plays) 4 overs. Mahmudullah-Nasir-Mominul/Shabbir to cheap in for rest of the overs.

Mithun out, Shabbir in. Let Anamul keep.

If we play in the same pitch then maybe bring in Riyad for Gazi/Reza.

Its funny how almost everyone is opting for Riyad even though nearly everyone wanted him out of the contention for the 14 let alone the 11.

He is trashed because someday he couldnt hit some full tosses out of the park... Well I didnt see any full tosses smashed yesterday.

Anyways, Mithun should be dropped. Not because he didnt perform but because when Mushy is back, we will already have 2 keepers for the WC. So his slot could easily go to another batsmen/allrounder who stands a better chance in making the WC XI.
Reza should also be dropped because again, a third seamer isnt needed for our home conditions and judging by his 2 overs, he wont make the team as a second seamer ahead of Rubel, Al Amin, Shafiul, Nazmul so and so.

Dont care if Gazi is retained. If he performs extraordinary, he survives, but even a sub par performance should rule him out and rightfully so.

don't get me wrong... Ryad is being opted for because Gazi is in horrible form with the ball and Ryad couldnt possibly do worse. the reason ppl wanted him out of the squad is because Ryad couldn't get 9 off 6 balls and anamul almost got 17. If Ryad was playing in anamul's position, he would have happily given the strike back to farhad reza and stay not out. Anamul chose to do it himself and kept us in the game till the last ball.

I still dont understand as of today how this was meant to be intentional....

49.1
Aizaz Cheema to Mahmudullah, 1 run, leading edge, tried to shuffle across and paddle it over short fine, went instead to third man, just the single

Mahmudullah ran into the bowler on the attempted second run, the umpire had a word with both. 8 off 5 to win

those who don't understand his passing the buck mentality to tail enders in asia cup and world cup games will never understand the point some of us fans are making. There is no way for us to end this debate. It is upto Ryad to end the debate by playing match winning knocks in the coming games.

GAZI is not a big hitter, he can hold a bat, thats about it. Put an above average bowler in front of him, 5times out of 6, he will swing the bat and make contact with thin air. He plays for his bowling and his batting is a plus whenever it pays off. HOWEVER, his bowling looks atrocious against any team that is capable of playing spin.
