Default Euro 2012

23 days to go. I was hoping to be there, too bad my application for game tickets got rejected and they have no fall back process like the World Cup.

Groups B and D will be very competitive. Group B could be the group of death if one absolutely has to pick one.

Who's your team?

Group A

1 Poland

2 Greece

3 Russia

4 Czech Republic

Group B

Group C

3 Republic of Ireland

4 Croatia

Supporting England but know they don't have a chance of winning. Redknapp should have been appointed manager but Hodgson's not a bad choice either. Expectations should be geared towards reaching the semis but even that is going to be very challenging.

Been following Spanish football since '02. But I think this time around, the Germans will take the cup. Barcelona & Madrid played a lot of domestic games, fatigue to play it's toll on the Spanish.

I don't expect the English to go far, but France is the one to look out for, the dark horse. They are on an unbelievable unbeaten streak under Blanc..

Spain's biggest dissapointment will be they lost Villa & Puyol to injury. Soldado/Negredo/Llorente should do a fine job, but Villa is such a versatile player, can play upfront or on the wings.. Ramos can play at CB as he has had a good season with Madrid in his new postion. Pique remains a suspect with his off form with Barcelona. We shall see.

I really liked the Turks in the last tournament. So many amazing last minute comebacks. I know England will disappoint, though I like them. I think Spain is a contender, but my dark horse team is this young German squad. They impressed so much in the last WC, and I think they win the Euro.

^Germany my first pick to win as well.

Mario Gotze will be the revelation of the tournament imo.

I was surprised to learn that Belgium did not qualify. So many good players: Hazard, Lukaku, Kompany, Vermaelen, Vertonghen. Only a matter of time before they start becoming a force in world football.

Will pull for England, would love to see Gerrard win it for them, they'll lose in penalties or something.

I think it's going to be Germany and France, Klose to score a bunch of goals like he always does in big events.

The French finished their Euro preparation with a 4-0 drubbing over Estonia. Check out this Benzema assist & Ribery goal! *drools*
