Default Kapali's thunder stolen by Imran Nazir

100 off 42 balls in the last final

111 not not off 44 balls... 11 6's

just wow.

Feel sorry for Kapali though.

Hyderabad bowlers gave up. They were feeding him 6s. The last 2 6s he hit were full-tosses that anyone could hit for 6. To me Kapali is still the best batsman of the tournament. Batting at #4. I was surprised that he wasn't even in the Last 3 being considered for MoS.

Bdchamp, lets be gracious! Give credit where its due. Kapali would be the first one to applaud Imran.

That was the most awesome clean hittings I have ever seen in my life.

I think if his century was saved, he would have ben selected given that his average was staggering 54, way above Imran Nazir (43).

Probably the best innings ever played in the ICL history.

Poor Cheerleaders (from CI)

Quote:
The cheerleaders, who were supposed to dance after each boundary, were severely tested by Nazir's fury and could not match him in the end. When their dancing stopped, Lahore's players celebrated their triumph.

How? I don't think he is ever going to play 50/50, do you? He has been banned from the national team, remember?

And we really only have our cricket board to blame for that.

In the ICC cricket structure, BCCi needs BCBs vote on certain issues. Since BCCi isn't really doing us any favor by arranging National and A team tours (I am not sure if BCB even asks for them, if they don't, it's actually BCB's fault) with us, don't see how it serves BCB to go yessa, massa to everything BCCI does. It'll be interesting to see if BCCI picks several BD players for IPL. If BCB doesn't even get that deal, they should simply lift this ban on the ICL players.

I frankly do not see how banning the ICL players benefits Bangladesh cricket. Unless, that's not the first priority of BCB. Come to think of it ........... it isn't.
