Alright, let us heat up the forum again.

Here is my XI for the first four day match-

Nafees
Nazmus
Tushar
Sakib
Alok
Mehrab
Saghir
Tapash
Robin
Shanto
Enamul

Considering the wintry and cloudy Zimbabwean condition, I picked three specialist pacers. Reza or Sharif has not made my list because I don't think either of those two medium pacers will be effective longer version bowler.

I am yet to see a genuine 6'-6" Bangladeshi. Even our tallest basketball player is 6'-4". Except the one who were 8'-6" (gland malfunction) world's tallest at one time.
The tallest I saw is my brother-in-law 6'-5" lives in Texas now. And he is legit 6'-5" guy 280+ lbs.

So my guess would be he is 6'-4".
Somewhere I heard he was 17?

man it has been a while.nice to be back in game mode.thanks for starting the thread.i think bd batsmen will struggle against the quick bolwers.iqbal may make good use of this opportunity to come back to the test side.there will be some 50+ innings here and there by the other players.it will definitely not be an easy tour for the batsmen.jr will probably come out as the best player of this series.

Thanks cricman for opening the Match Thread. The Forum is very quite now-a-days. Everybody is on the other forum - FIFA WC 2006.
We need CRICKET. I believe it is going to be interesting during this matches.
As mentioned, we can expect an hourly update from TigerCricket.com, at least "nei mamar cheye kanamama bhalo"

Is it a record? Opening a match thread four days early. Even Shafin would have a hard time breaking it. Anyway thanks

I was thinking of that too! Why didn't they play a practice match against the national team? They already in the camp and it could have been easily arranged. May the weather was a factor and it may have been too oppressive.

I am interested to see how Kapali does. I thought he's a goner for the national team.

P.S: Hello everybody, I'm back to DIal Up connection from broadband. Can't wait to get the Real 'broadband' connection with Fiber Optic - Submarine Cable within 6 month's time.

Thanks for opening the thread ..........giving the chance to breathe in.... Worldcup Football (France sucks!) and basketball finals making sick (Miami Heat sucks too)....!!
Hope I will get into winning track in the coming series. But the weather seems to be difficult after travelling from BD heats. Hope boys would get acclimatized quickly.

Nice to return in cricket. BD A team should win this easily. Eagerly awaiting to see the performances of the upcoming stars like Mehrab jn. and Sakib. Hope Enamul will overcome his bad performances in abroad.

ভাই বউ এর সাথে ঝগড়া করে সোনার বাংলার উপর ঝাল ঝাড়ছেন কেন?
I found your word quite offensive. It does not matter whether one is a doctorate or illitarate. As a a fan he asked a vaid question. A team should be always look for future (both short and long). I also have the same question why Shanto? If Shafaq is not available why not Polash evn they could send Rajib or Rasel for gaining experience before the tour of national team.
By the way, I did pass HSC and hold an engineering degree from a prestigious European Institute
