Need to play one more batsman
What of Mushfiqur got out last match? Only Sabbir was left. I think we need to accomodate nasir somehow.

Valid point. But its not about collapses, but about how effective our bowlers are. Since Sunny really couldn't contain runs, I would rather prefer Nasir with his offies over Sunny and Taijul. Of late, Nasir has become more dependable with his spin. But still a fan of 5 bowlers. Let's see how NZ game goes and then decide.

And what's the guarantee that one new guy will be the savior ? You can't make a team composition based on IF mushy collapses. If the collapse is so deep, there is no mechanism to repair that.
We need a very strong bowling against NZ ... Batting wise what 7 will do, that 8 will also do.
IMO go with same team... If Mash is rested: get Shafiul in, go with sunny or Tajul is all the same. Let Tajul have a match practice if you like. Nothing new should be done IMO

Nasir needs to have a go somehow I believe. Kayes is a dead duck, or just another Anamul. He will score an 80 ball 50, which we don't really need.

7 batsmen is fine. I'd keep the same team but dropping Imrul for Nasir should happen. Let Soumya open, he is basically doing that anyways. We need to have 5 bowlers against NZ and Nasir also provides his part-time offies that Imrul doesn't.

See, we have a prob with top order or opening to be precise. Pushing up everyone will affect all the guys until Nasir(7) and spoil many others mind set and game, if not all.
Kayes is opening Nasir is not.... Pushing SS up will spoil his game too...so even if Kayes fails SS will come and do what he did last time. But pushing him to open will put him under unnecessary pressure, which he never was ready for.
Nasir isn't tested yet in these conditions and you can expect anything, even worse than Imrul and you can't say anything to him, as this will be his first outing. There is no guarantee that Nasir will perform.
Kayes is more experienced and you already gave him a chance to bat, so he will feel more confident and obligated to perform in next match.
Even a 80 ball 50 opening from him will be massive for us. That will allow TI to play without pressure and give a base for the others to play freely.
We can't upset the team batting in such a deep rooted manner to make a mess of the winning outfit. If you can make Nasir to open, then take a chance with least damage...but I'm not sure he would like to do that, neither he can do that any better than Kayes.

Screw keeping the winning team combination. Imrul isnt prepared or good enough. Have sarkar open with TI and drop imrul for nasir.

gazir je form--as soon as wc is over--he will jump into national team
sunny was not impressive in last match. i think taijul should replace him--we need extra spinner for NZ
lets nasir replace imrul. nasir is in good form

Dont think 7 or 8 batsmen make a significant difference. Sometimes it can be counterproductive like we pushed Mominul up the other day and he was dismissed like a tailender.
Forgot who, but a commentator made a point the other day, sometimes when 7 batsmen are playing they might end up playing more responsibly, compared to having an extra batsman.
But in the long term we do need to work on our tail. Mashrafee is not a someone to bat at 8.

Hati ghora gelo toll, #8 batsman boley koto jol.
We don't need #8 batsman. What we need is replace some non-performing batsman, and in future (now its too late) find some decent bowlers who can bat for ODI team.

We do need a 80 ball 50 as it will help to keep wickets in hand which will allow to accelerate the run rates later in the innings...
I am more worried if both openers get out in the fashion they got out against the English though!
