Has to do with poor domestic structure. In the past we had DPL, a crap NCL and that wsa about it.

BCL and BPL has really bolstered our domestic structure but right now we need the following:
-better coaches in domestics and A team
-Better quality pitches
-Workshops for players emphasizing on workout regime, diet, injury management on players.

I feel a large chunk of our players have sheer talent but not the brains.

Ind 221/5 in 36 over. Innings break. BD will bat next. That is a very high RR. 6.1+
Who ever wins this match is through to the finals. Eng still has a chance. They have two games left and if they win both they are in as well.

Also guys it is very extremely gloomy in London right now. While following the game I was thinking to myself how they are batting in such bad light let alone chasing 8/9 runs an over.

Only the 3rd time we've ever beaten India U19 and Towhid Hridoy is the only Bangladeshi to feature in 2 wins against them.

Really impressed with him, played well in the last match against India as well.

Gem of an innings from Emon also, he set the momentum of the chase.

You are right i was about to mention the name of Emon, ridoy and mritunjoy along with akbar ali the outstanding performers who stood out from others so far. I heard someone in some other thread said akbar Ali has the trait of Dhoni like very calm and calculative and has ability to play big shots when needed. In our national team we need such kind of guy in the middle who can take the controll of the game no matter what situation the team is in.

sorry i posted this interesting news here, didn’t want open unnecessary thread for such news:

It is good to see that U19 boys are doing well. But I am against hyping them at this stage. Comparing them with MS Dhoni is too much at this stage.

bro it’s not comparing more like saying that someone has the trait of another person found in someone else. to me, bcb can keep eyes on such guys like Akbar ali, mritonjoy arrange them to have some sessions with national team camp. not that select them in the national team but give them a taste of intensity, have them assess their progress for next level. so that these guys don’t drop their improvements in coming years, always busy with an intensity not find all of a sudden big gap when selected for the national team the level they own throughout their skill previous years. certainly, these guys have the potential but at the national level they fade away, so to stop fading away keep some u19 guys mingling in national camp for years after years.

I suggest bcb can do something like this: from u-19 batch one or two special players can have the luxury of having camping with the national squad for two years then the process go on for next u-19 batch, during that experimental time obviously from the net sessions a player can be well judged how one will be coped for national team or quality enough selecting for national team.
