He has to adapt as well for people trying to hit him to the leg side. I think the way will be to fire in yorkers because their leg stumps will be exposed. Once you shuffle across to the offside your leg side opens up but gets exposed as well, Mustafizur should exploit this. He is very good in reading batsmen so he will know what they are going to try against him now. In the long term, it's not going to work because he will know they are going to try this and if the ball is fuller and straight with pace and they miss it they are going to get out.

he did that when Kane Williamson tried to shuffle and hit him, Kane hit him for a 4 and the next 2 balls couldn't put his bat to the ball, tried to shuffle to the offside again and in the 3rd ball was bowled by a legsite yorker. Fizz is a thinking bowler which makes him so special along with his variations. This match was just that match where nothing worked for him. his is only human and these kind of days happens to all of us

With RPS out of the tournament, I feel that the Prince of Mirpur will be rested tomorrow to facilitate Sunrisers to us their bench and introduce Trent Boult for the 1st time this IPL.

I know a lot of ardent supporters of Mustafizur will want to see this as well.

Well, once again he takes a wicket in his first over.

50 T20 wickets for him...and still counting.

Congrats

Bad over from mustafiz, now a days batsman are trying to shuffle in the offside and play him like amla did in 3 balls this over, I hope musta adopts to this ploy by batsmen

Amla being cheeky and effective.. Musta could have tried pulling back the length a bit.. excellent awareness from amla

Too predictable from Fizz. Wide yorker and Amla with the perfect shot for it.

here comes musta again..will have to be less predictible with his lengths and lines to amla and bowl more orthodox deliveries with variations.. there good first ball, and dropped by the fielder

Amla did very oil, Musta was ok

I wish he could have bowled a straight yorker as Amla was showing all stumps there.

Given this was Mustaz' ideal pitch, he did poorly specially against Amla. Needs to adapt better and thinking while running in.

he is ready to come home - the boy is homesick. SRH should send him home for 2-3 days. I guarantee he would perform better.

Everyone always forgets the unwavering truth about him.

He IS 20 YEARS OLD.

Take that in for a second.

Secondly, he has been playing non-stop from the India tour last year. Let's see the amount of games he has actually played during this period..

3 ODI games vs India
3 ODIs vs SA
2 T20s vs SA
1 Test vs SA
3 ODI series vs Zimb -> Injured
11/12 BPL Games
4 T20s vs Zimb again -> Injured
2 T20s in Asia Cup -> Injured
3 T20 games in WC
12 T20 games for SRH in IPL

Roughly about 24 international games and about 24 high octane T20 league games.
It is a lot for him. He has been injured twice in the middle.

Don't get me wrong, the chance to play in Sussex is something that will benefit him and Bangladesh a lot, England teaches you swing bowling like no other country. But I don't know if he is ready for it.

On top of all that, he can only speak Bangla so he must be homesick as hell.

Try to see it from another person's perspective please.

That's happened few times should just knock the stamp out.

And shakib need to bowl wide when batsman try use feet for stamping chance.

Total around 100-120 overs of bowling, it's a minimum in a 5 Test series and those don't last more that 2 months.

How about taking into account travelling? Also bowled a lot in the nets.

He is definitely getting homesick. Shakib has his wife and bangla speaking community and he gels along.

Mustafizur is basically lonely. Probably only his manager who can provide him company
