Is it possible to include a few ex national team stars ? Like JuSi, Hardik Pandya aka Nasir Hossain, Mohammad Ashraful et el.

Mushfiq and Miraz stand out somewhat, each scoring fifty for winning cause.

Numbers will not tell you the whole thing.

I was pleasantly surprised with Miraz when watching him bat. I don't want him in T20 myself, but he is showing more gumption with the bat, was middling everything.

Rahim was great as well, and he always adjusts to the situation.

Extremely disappointed with Liton and Soumya. Thought they could stamp their authority. You can add Sabbir to that mix, as he has a lot riding on this tourney.

Tamim, Shakib and Dullah... meh, what's the point of scouting them anyway, they have a lifelong free pass in the team for all formats.

Our best T20 players are still average T20 players. There is a reason we are ranked 10th. We are as mediocre in T20 as Afghanistan is in ODIs.

We can win one or two games or make the final of an Asia Cup or Nidahas trophy every now and then and thats it. We will qualify for the main round of the World Cup, that too barely scraping by the likes of UAE or Netherlands and then largely get trounced by all the other top 10 sides.

But I don't care as long as we continue to win Test matches (and start competing overseas at least to the level of Pakistan), and threaten for a semi-final spot in England this year (don't expect to qualify, but we should push the teams ranked 4th to 6th hard).

That is an understatement. Afghanistan was the best team of last asia cup after India. Played well in all the matches except the last few overs against Bangladesh. They are not mediocre.

Best team that lost all 3 games in the second round. Remember, BD minus Shakib and Tamim went to the last ball vs India. If Afghanistan is better than BD, than BD is better than India.

Remember this is a team that barely qualified for the 2nd round of the World Cup Qualifier.

Superstar Nasir Update:

Although the team says Nasir was left out in Dhaka for poor performance, rumor is Nasir was left out temporarily as a 'punishment' from the team management or like a rest to cool out his problems. Sources said that he breached team rules again, supposedly behaviour problem with Warner.. (From reputable News Publisher The Daily Star)

Shakib and Tamim both played crucial innings today for their respective teams. Mushfiqur took Chittagong to victory few days ago. Mahmudullah yet to fire among the seniors but they are starting to pick up their pace.

Meanwhile, superstar Sabbir ain't beating the ball around like he beat that child. Momin and Soumya left out of their respective team last match. National team super youngsters are falling behind, especially Nasir who, as rumor has it, was literally left all the way behind in Dhaka while his team is in Sylhet
