"Wasan has called tails and lost the toss. Martin ponders for a moment before deciding to bat first. Halogens will start their innings shortly.
The weather for the match is expected to be Cloudy and the groundsmen have prepared a Flat pitch. Conditions look ideal for the batsmen.
A crowd of 2,377 has arrived at Halogens CG today for the One Day Friendly match between Halogens and Sporting Bengal."
My team will be batting first against Shamim's...it's a cloudy day and the wicket prepared is a very flat one...I'm looking forward to a score in excess of 375.
Disappointed with the crowd turnout..my stadium's capacity is 11,500...well I guess most people will be going to the Asia Cup final...that's the only reason I see for low turn out

R. Boyce (rfm) 3-1-11-1, T. Prowse 12 (17b), L. Schwerdt 0 (0b)
End of over 6 (maiden) - Halogens(24-1) RR 4.00
These guys are batting too slow...as I'm typing this I lose another wicket..24 for 2 in the 7th over

"R. Boyce (rfm) 8-1-35-1, R. Martin 44 (52b), N. Rinaldi 5 (9b)
End of over 25 (3 runs) - Halogens(119-4) RR 4.76 "
Half of the overs thru and I have lost almost half of my batting lineup. It's looking like a tuff task getting to 300 from hear. Captain Martin is still there at the crease along with keeper Rinaldi..the last two recognized batsmen..Stay on and bat guys...

Not sure how Halogen didn't win, both games were very close. In the first game, Halogen dominated until Picker came in and finished like Dhoni, mind you he never batted like this before. And Sunday's match, your team took it really close, yet again picker spoilt the party.

I agree both matches were close...the first game was a high scoring contest...while in the second Halogens had a shot at winning, but couldn't get your opener out...Josef struggled with the ball and got out for a duck...bro, you should still persist with him. At least give him a shot in a T20 match even for one match.

my team is alot weaker than what it was 2 season ago. my Match rating was high 240's then. Now its less than 220 with few players over 30's
don't have any finance to improve my team either and don't wanna talk this crappy pulling system

Finance is the hardest thing to maintain. I have developed my team based on Arsenal Football Club, develop and at the same time remain competitive. Hoping in the future, I would have enough revenue to compete for the big leagues. All kings have to come down one day even Jose Mourinho is out of employment lol. Your team is one of the hardest, I reckon here in BC to beat.

The thing is, my team is pretty competitive that it can win leagues, When they get promoted, they will be competitive enough to remain in top 3, if they get demoted, straight away next season they would be back. It takes time to save some money, currently in my bank I have 600-k, the arsenal method, bring up good players, and sell them, but maintaining a strong squad at the same time.

I'll that your arsenal under consideration..right now I have in my senior squad guys 7 guys who have been through my youth system...they are wonderful performers...some of them played senior league for the first time last season and topped averages and strike rates...that being said, I am gonna go run the market later today.

I reckon you have to many players in your senior squad. I don't really spend much on my junior academy, as you hardly get decent players. My senior squad is 20, junior is 13, but most of my seniors are within 21-25.

Oh yeah...I am currently in the process of weeding through my squads. Some guys are on the market, while some have been shown the door...Probably taking on professions like rickshaw drivers, cooks, beauticians, database analysts, etc.
I had a decent pull this week:
Ehsanul Sajjad . 17 Years old and a Right arm fast medium. Perfect opening bowler

Seems like its our day today. I just pulled my future opening batsman.
Morgan Krejza. 16 year old batsmen, rating 25k, not bad, HUGE potential.

Looks like he's gonna have a very, very, very, bright future ahead. And a long career

Outplayed by a better team in my first game of the new season.

Most of my batsmen had starts, but couldn't carry on. Gave 20 year old Thornton Frakes his first game..he made a decent score with the bat in the middle order. Looking forward to see how this season goes..

Josef Conningham smacked 187 off 117 balls with 17 fours and 3 sixes; he returned with the ball and took 3 wickets....ol
One for the future, hope he gets selected in the national team soon.

Took a bot team to the cleaners last nite. My #6 batsman came in and smoked 178* off 88 balls.

Yet to lose a game this season. Big friendly game tomorrow against Hologens. Will field a weaker to match up and give youngsters a chance. Big game in Pavilion cup for me too on Sunday. Facing a team with MR of 200-210k in first round is a joke, especially when my team is in top 100 in the world .
Watch out for Nadim Haider aklemalp

Would be a welcome tomorrow. Since you have one of the best teams in the entire game, I will be looking forward for a sound thrashing.
Will be an honor playing your team. Nadim Haider will have to face the music from Mark Flynn and Co.

Well, well, well...Nadim Haider proving to be too much for Halogens as warned earlier
N. Haider (rm) 5-0-9-2, L. Schwerdt 4 (11b), C. Donaghy 0 (3b)
End of over 9 (1 run) - Halogens(19-3) RR 2.11

Economicalhe is, but his wicket taking ability needs to step up.
Got your captain for a golden duck. But a good partnership is enough for your team to get the modest target of 130
