They may not yet have a proper structure in place which will work against them.

But the wonderful thing about them, is even with 15 players they will be a competitive cricketing nation in all formats. Their gritty, fighting, competitive side is sth we can learn from.

If they get the status where will they play against the teams when they have home series? Maybe in UAE or India.

Follow them on Cricinfo,they have 5/6 teams,4 dayers,one dayers and T20's,their under 19 side is quiet strong.

Ireland is an aging team,they need some new talent to come through first.
Am interested how Ireland do in the Desert T20 in UAE actually,see if they have improved.

It was mentioned in the government report into Irish sport that one of CI's goals is also to apply in 2017

the day any of those first div teams start winning tests in opposite conditions... I will come back and agree with u..but hey i dont have to worry about that cause it wont ever happen
