Default F1 Season 2013

The 2013 season has started with the weekend GP kicking off at Melbourne tomorrow with the qualifiers.

So far, the Red Bulls have had a good FP but Hamilton in his new team had the best testing at Barcelona.

Well, Melbourne rain delayed the qualifications. Q2 & Q3 will be before the GP race!

Lets give you some company in F1 again maysun

Malaysian GP result: Vettel, Webber, Hamilton

Fun watching good battle among Redbull cars, until you will find out it was an unfair one for Webber as Vettel disobeyed team management to pass Webber in final laps! Quite a drama goin there. Later Vettel apologize to his team mate. This rivalry may cost RB big time, as we saw they crashed each other before also. I'm worried Vettel's career may end up like Kimi to be a hot blood careless heroic driver.

It's sad that team politics has been the main feature of the race.

The drivers should be allowed to race themselves instead of being given orders. The same has happened with Rosberg and Hamilton as well but Rosberg did obey. Post race, Rosberg was definitely pissed.

Here is my 2 cents, if a team mate is faster than you, he should be given the permission to overtake if he has the ability to overtake cleanly and it doesn't come at the cost of the team.

Chinese GP result:
  1. Alonso
  2. Kimi
  3. Hamilton
Excellent dominating win by the Spaniard. Ferrari was impresively quick all along. Vettel's very late soft tyre switch actually cost him 2nd position. Webber to start race from pit position due to preety stupid reason of failing to provide one liter of fuel sample was dishearting.

Impressive from the Ferrari's indeed!

And cricheart, the SOFTS degrade after 7-8 laps and one can't get a grip, so they actually slow down. I think RBR were almost right with their strategy as was evident when Vettel finished 0.3s behind Hamilton. Wonder what would have happened, had he done it a lap earlier. Reducing a 13s gap to 0.3s is astonishing.

Kimi was impressive as well. Was very professional in his racing despite the early hiccup.

ALONSO, RAIKONNEN & MASSA.

What a result for the Scuderia Ferrari. Meanwhile, Raikkonen puts in yet another strong performance.

ROSBERG VETTEL WEBBER

Rosberg creates history. His dad, Keke Rosberg won it 30 years back. First father-son duo, to win the illustrious Monaco GP!

What an eventful Monaco race

There was a time when I used to follow F1 religiously. Not so much after the Schumi's retirement (the first one). Now I just check the results and occasionally catch some of the highlights.

Also miss the commentary by Steve Slater and Chris Goodwin form the good old days. Think Slater is still there?
