And no i am not only talking about youngstars.

So i prefer individuals like Amla and Trott who had a nice upward throughout their career and have made steady improvement.

That's the key, Amla wasn't born with the class he has now, he worked really hard for it.

Dhawan looks like the real deal to me. I thought Kohli would be the greatest batsman of this generation but it seems Dhawan will also be a good competitor for him. Good times are ahead for India

Dhawan isn't a newbie per se, he had to work to get where he is today. Remember, he was touted as a next big thing, lost himself, then reinvented himself. But yes, longevity in the international arena is a different thing.

nobody except Nadim came even close...the definite answer is "The king of all comeback kings" - I won't even mention the name of the royal highness...it is he whose spirit could never be dampened by years of continuous failure at a time...it is he who always finds a way to redeem himself in some inexplicable manner no matter how bad things get... he's our modern day Robert the Bruce...i figure even if he gets 10 years he can always blow the whistle couple more times and get it reduced to say 5...that'll leave him with a solid 5-10 years to dazzle the world with one masterpiece after another and put folks like Dhawan in the rear-view mirror :run&hide:

Well soumya got that double ton in u19s.....but other than him I guess if you were to compare someone maybe tamim....at current dhawan is looking like a very special talent though, not many can match his quick scoring ability coupled with his run making ability. But really, how many dhawan's are there?

I think he was being sarcastic. And the second part of the sentence doesn't makes any sense.
