Just see who quickly they switched from Anamul to Shamsu or dropped Ryiad from Test. They were also very fair with Nayeem who deserved more chance. This doesn't mean its end of Anamul's career, but it gave Anamul a clear message what he needs to do to come back in the team again....the days of "Ashraul and his 9 lives" are over under this management.

well now callups are not based on 1-2 good performance.... Just look at how consistent Marshal, Mominul, Al Amin, Shamsur had to be to earn a callup? and Just how long it took for Naeem to earn a recall...

Loving Gazi's comment:
I am still not celebrating because there’s still a game left to win. Celebrations can wait till the T20 game is won.

^That's the attitude boy.
Now compare that to Mullah's: "Last ball e 2ta run nite partam, kintu na thaak, ektai nei. Not out thaki, average ta baruk. Er por ek run er jonno jodi team haarey tahole bad luck."

I still remember how even Shakib was mis-treated like this.
One thing I like about our players is that they are down-to-earth. Neither shakib nor Gazi went about like "You know who I am? I am A SHOOPAR ISHTAAAR!!"

First Ashraful slaps a supporter.
Then Mushfiq get punched by the waiter
And now Gazi get slapped by Police?
Who will be next? And what it will be? Chor naki Thappor?

Very ordinary performance by Gazi. Too many loose balls. He needs to real work hard. I think he still has not recovered from the thappor.

Are our players little children or something that they need someone to hold their hands and constantly guide them

In a way it's a step forward since previously even if they had someone guiding them it didn't help, at least it helps now.

Not little children. But they do need some professional help every now and then. Nothing wrong with it.

Has been very ordinary in this series
I think he needs some assistance. He is the only offie around, everyone else are just SLAs

riyad the offie did better than him this match. riyad has the potential to be decent, even in tests, but gazi has the potential to be a very good test bowler which is why this performance is disappointing. everyone has bad matches and bad patches here and there, hopefully this is one of them but with his average going above 40 there is a chance he won't be in the XI in the next test match, if he's in it e's going to have to perform to keep his spot as he's got razzak (for whatever reason), enamul jr, sajib, taijul, sunny etc all on his tail.

Time to give him a short break and bring taijul into the equation. Real competition and the possibility of losing spot can do miracle to young and talented players. there need to be some competition for opening batsman slot slot , Spin and Wicket keeping.

i think we should give him a break in t20s, he's done very well in ODIs so far. for test matches we should see who's in the best form for the next series.

Why do you want him to "give a break"?
They could well squeeze in Taijul without getting him out. In tests, the same XI minus Razzak and Taijul in, smooth as. And that air of competition would still be there, he'd still feel the pressure to stay in. Getting him out is a bit harsh - the tracks were placid and not much he could've done.
Although he should be kept the hell away from T20s. He's not a T20 bowler. Sunny and the likes who actually does that sort of thing well should play T20s, not Gazi.
