Well, don't blame these fools, rather blame the selectors - why at the first place they are in the squad?? You keep selecting the Abuls, you will get the same results, simple as that.

I can't believe BCB was actually thinking of appointing this Abul as captain after HaBa..What a pathetic comment. Never wants to admit his mistakes.

One of the worst test innings as Number 3 and also as per his reputation and style of batting, it's one of the worst innings IMO...I don't care how many runs he scored...

One Tamim at the top order is more than enough. No need for a poor man's Tamim like SN.

It has always been my fantasy to watch all of our Mofeeses play together.

1. Mofees Iqbal
2. Junaid Mofees (WK)

5. Mahmudullah Mofees (VC)
6. Faisal Hossain Mofees
7. Mofees Babu
8. Sohrawardi Mofees
9. Mosharraf Hossain Mofees
10. Alomgir Mofees
11. Robium Mofees

12th Man: Mehrab Hossain Mofees
13th Man: Mohammad Ashrafum Mofees
14th Man: Abul Hossain Mofees
15th Man: Mohammad Mofees Ali (WK)

Head Coach: Mofees Kamal

Since he made his comeback into the test squad, he has never shown good temperament as a no 3 batsman. Some teams have dashing openers like Gayle, Shewag, Tamim but no other team have a player like SN in no 3.

His last 4 test matches score including the current one.

7 18 25 - - 0 0
v West Indies Dhaka 29 Oct 2011 Test # 2012
0 28 28 - - 1 0
v Pakistan Chittagong 9 Dec 2011 Test # 2022
97 0 97 - - 1 0
v Pakistan Dhaka 17 Dec 2011 Test # 2024
31 - 31 - - 0 0
v West Indies Dhaka 13 Nov 2012 Test # 2057

Tamim can bat like that because he has an average over 40 batting that way. But when a batsman like SN has average of 26.80 after playing 21 test matches, it shows he lacks cricketing brain. It's more alarming that he denies to admit his fault.

How come Mohammad Ashrafum Mofees is not captaining the team and Kazi SRK Mofees not spearheading the Phast Grunting attack? But i admit that Shahriar Mofees is also a very good choice for leading the Mofees 11. His physique, body language, batting, interview - everything screams of being a world class Mofees.

This is a very valid point. SN never shown temperament to play test cricket. This is why I like Junaid over him.His days are running out.But main problem is replacement. To me both Anamul is almost prepared but I dont think Mominul is fully prepared to play at #3 in test cricket.

Ash simply isn't consistent enough to command a regular place in the XI. He didn't do well in the NCL either. Therefore the captaincy went to SM. MI, once touted to be the future captain of Bangladesh just like SM, was also in contention. The VC position has always been a lock in favor of MM.

SRK is simply too good to bowl anymore and we don't want him to get injured because he, as you correctly pointed out in your analysis, has a lot to offer to up and coming Bangladeshi bowl. Hence the position of bowling coach. He also wanted this because the extra time will allow him to focus on his Dhali-ood career under the glorious tutelage of Master Thespian Anonto "Educated" Jalil

I think ideally you would have Naeem Islam step up to number 3 and put Anamul in at 4. Naeem is the most solid player technically, could become the Bangladeshi "Dravid". Shariah Nafees gets another chance tomorrow but his time is surely running out.

I totally agree about SN. However I don't think Naeem is technically correct as of yet. He has to play in more challenging conditions and face better bowlers to hone his technique. I do think that his temperament is "Dravidian"

Yes.... Shariah Nafees's gets another chance tomorrow but his time is surely running out. Also Junaid's poor 2nd innings may also give SN another chance. I doubt they will sack two top order in one shot.

Hit the fastest century of Test cricket today and show the world...You Can.

Hope to see something great in this innings...just don't try to score @ 1, when you need @ 5, just to save you Axx... This innings might turnout like ODIs due to limited overs available.
