Renshaw's height might help him to smother the spin.

Heard that Handscomb is a good player. Also apparently in form. You never know with these Aussies. They are the most competitive bunch.

100 runs short

No excuse for Mushifq not to bat at #3 and Shabbir at 6

We all know Imrul sucks

Well. Am for Sarkar to be there but batting lower order. Liton open with Tamim, Mominul back to 3. Shakib needs to bat higher, 4th. Nasir 5th, Mushy 6th, Sarkar 7th. Reason why Sarkar, he is good fielder, plus adds some height to the side, especially for slip fielding. Ideal would be Nafees back into the side, he is good slip fielder, plays spin one of the best in BD, he has calmness and maturity to bat long, and if Mahmudullah gets form back for the long form. I think Mullah still much suited to test than Sabbir. Mahmudullah just needs to get a big score. Sabbir for now should get one last test to showcase anything he has. Sarkar might be hanginf about due to slip fielding, if he can bat some decent amount down the order he would fit in for quick scroing.

Yes there is, he Cant keep wickets and bat at 3

Next match Mominul needs to come in for either Sarkar or imrul

Litton for sabbir, push mushfiq to 4

I'm expecting a big partnership between renshaw and Smith tomorrow.

They r easily two of the best batters in Australian side.

Looked through Handsomb's stats, averaged ~20 on his tour to India with one 50 to show in 5 tests so that may indicate he will struggle against spin too.

His average is a bit inflated after a home series against Pak

Always critical? Thats interesting.

I'm only critical of certain seniors, only because they deserve it. Not to mention it balances out the fact that everyone else puts them on a pedestal.

On the other hand, I'm very patient with youngsters. More so than most here.

I agree with this. My only problem is that if Liton opens, then Mushy continues to keep. This cannot be a long term option for us. Unless we bring in Nurul for wk, then Liton opens, Mushy bats 4th, and Soumya is 6/7.

Forget Mullah, he's done with tests. I prefer Nasir over both Mullah and Sabbir.

Handscombe, Maxwell and Wade all play spin well. The Aussie tail consisting Agar, Cummins is strong too. We have to keep it tight.

Warner is a certified flat track bully, there is no may be mate. Khwaja is the worst player against spin I have ever seen, he is so bad he makes Warner looks decent player of spin.

The problem with Khawajah if you criticze him, some ppl use the R word.
But yeh India,Sri Lanka,,england now Bangladesh.
At least Warner got 150 in the UAE,so he is capable, but yeh on struggle street.
At least 1 wkt was Lyon, but its hard to come back from 3/18.

to be fair, Khawaja went out to a massive brain fart. Pitch had nothing to do with it. Let's see how he does in the 3 remaining innings.

Wasn't talking about Shafiul specifically, but in general.

And Shafiul is a "youngster" if you go by experience. 7 or 8 international tests only. And just returning after more than a year gap. Questioning his inclusion after 2 overs bowled is still ridiculous.

I love Khawaja. As a second generation born and raised Australian-Bangladeshi, he represents my own hopes and dreams in cricket. He is a good guy as well, and strong in his culture and religion.

I just wish he wouldn't "brain fart" so often in the cricket field. He is capable of masterful innings - like his hundred against SAF in the third test last summer. I think the "he can't play spin" mantra is becoming a self-fulfilling prophecy: it's playing on his mind.

Of course, I just hope he doesn't find form this series - maybe a handy 30 or 50 to keep his place in the side 😅
