I thought I was requesting to get the Louisiana Superdome as my home ground!

Thank you dear Sohel da and dear Diluscoop!

I believe once everything's sorted out I can prove my team is a real man's team(full of real tough guys) and I can crush you all's silly teams, right? Yes.

Inputting the right match conditions are also just as critical and Google can be used to discover the actual weather conditions during game time. Cold and windy conditions at the Candlestick should work to my team's advantage when swing bowlers like Gul or Malinga bowl for the Sharks simply because they're more familiar with home conditions.

Also, Dilscoop should provide updated scorecards and pics during matches.

@Dilscoop: You should drop Green Bay and another team from your list. GB is a legendary football town but isn't really a major league city in any way, shape or form. I've been there. Think a sleepier, more agro version of Daly City.

Step 2: Pick a home ground. Check
Step 3: Pick a rich owner. That means RICH. Not. A. Poet! Be reasonable. Poet can't own a franchise!

SNR, I'm keeping you in charge for this. You 2 could be like the Harbaugh brothers.
Thank you Sohel da and Dilscoop!!

Thanks for the help, Nationals Park it is (I had no idea about the grounds in Washington DC)

Philadelphia Flyers

Massive news! We have revealed the exclusive design of our Jersey for First Edition at Comcast Center today followed by a press conference. Journalists, Photographers and Crowds arrived hours before the event got started and everyone was eagerly waiting with huge anticipation. Finally the moment came and everyone applauded once Bradley Cooper unwrapped the beautifully crafted green colored Jersey. After that he answered some general questions with great appreciation.

I don't see anyone going for Green Bay here. Not sure if any of the BCites live in Wisconsin. Montreal would be better IMO, but you gotta pick a name like the Canucks because the Canadiens logo has that "H" in the middle which stands for hockey and the name Expos is way too cryptic and outdated for most. The Alouettes (CFL) or Impact (MLS) may work once you get rid of the football in the Alouettes logo.

Arkansas (Walmart) needs a team. Any Waltons can do it. If not Jerry Jones (Cowboy owner) will be glad to finance. He went to Univ of Ark. Sponsored by T_E. Put me in. as the 17th Team. If not, get rid of Washington.

We will play in Little Rock War Memorial Stadium.

@Moc. Don't worry. I haven't really gone over that yet. But just know it will be simulated in some program.

@Maysun, oh, it's an app. I thought it was an online thing. Googled Cricket Manager and I came across this site where I had to sign up and stuff. NVM.

@BK, Kohli, Isnaad, good to have you guys out here. Bear with us.

@SNR, I was looking into Montreal last night. I was thinking about how I could use that logo too. lol

Guys, just pick up Green Bay. It's just a city. Once you build it with your favorite and high class players and start winning, it won't matter as much.

Everyone should've gotten their jersey. Check your PM. Let me know if you haven't. Now go have fun at the team revealing ceremony with your owners and sponsors. Show it to your city and the world. atm, ATMR is beating you guys at that.

working on alternatives for GB. I'll see what I can do for TE. If no one picks up the last couple of teams we will just have to start without them.

MLC West:

1. Seattle Mariners (Tonoy)
2. LA Kings (Maysun)
3. SF Sharks (SNR)

4. Denver Broncos OR Calgary Flames- MANAGER WANTED

MLC South:

1. Texas Cowboys (Doc Z)
2. NO Saints (BK)
3. Mimai Heat (Nadim)
4. Washington DC (Isnaad)

MLC East:

1. Boston Celtics (Ajfar)
2. NY Rangers (Moc)
3. Philadelphia Flyers (K_Sox)

4. Pittsburgh Penguins - MANAGER WANTED

MLC North:

1. Toronto Tyrants (ATMR)
2. Detroit Lions (kalpurush)
3. Chicago Bulls (Night_wolf)

4. Green Bay Packers OR Kansas City Chiefs - MANAGER WANTED

Just pick a team. It doesn't matter, after all it is a fantasy. This is a new ear. Even if Green Bay may not be a cricket town, you can set that up by building a good franchise. You can take away all the attention from Payton Manning and take Denver World Series! Pittsburgh is already popular! Please just pick one, and you will do just fine. KC could use a good sport team!

I can't change anymore things or create more jerseys. I have to create about 500 players on the sim. So please.

Exclamation Very Important

Attention managers: I've been working my butt out. Now it's going to be your turn.

Here are your next steps:
1) Pick a City
2) Name your owner
3) Get a Home ground
4) "Reveal" your team (Most of you haven't posted that yet)
5) Get a 2nd LOCAL sponsor for your team.
6) Hire Coaches and Staffs.
- a Batting, Bowling, Fielding coach. A Curator, Trainer/Physo, Asst. Coach/Specialist Coach (optional)
-And unless you've completed the previous steps (1-5), you won't have the "money" to hire that many coaches.
7) Make your center pitch, based on the weather of your area.
Pitch Speed: 1-10
Pitch Grip: 1-10
Pitch Bounce: 1-10
Pitch Variation: 1-10
Pitch Deterioration: 1-10
Please try to be as accurate as possible. All this steps are very crucial, and will determine the out comes.

(check Post 300, 301 for more help)

Thank you,
CEO, Major League Cricket

Not if I get him to manage a team . Also you skipped like 3 steps. I don't want Ian Pont to deal with another BPL situation. I will defo not let that happen in MLC.

Okay I'll take the Winconsin team. Next year I am going to move the team down south. My weight training program will be managed by Aaron Rogers!! I have already signed up Gary Kristin. His assistant is Andy Flower.

Staying ahead of everyone. Those are good hires. Also add your 2nd local sponsor, as always pick a good one. And don't forget about the pitch.

Default Breaking News: Gary Lewin in Toronto, quits England job

From thestar.com:

Posted 1 minute ago

TORONTO - Gary Lewin, the England national football team physiotherapist, has reportedly handed in his resignation to join the Toronto Tyrants at the MLC. The switch happens amidst immense shock and confusion in the FA headquarters, with sources close to Lewin revealing that he was "getting tired of losing" and "needed a change" to be able to "work with a bunch of professional athletes determined to push themselves as far as they need to in order to be at their best".

"It isn't often that you see people giving up a footie career to go into cricket, innit?", inquired a visibly dejected David Beckham, long time colleague whose English national team debut came in the same match that Lewin was appointed physio of the football team.

Lewin was not available to comment, although sources claim he was spotted at the Lester B. Pearson airport in Toronto munching away at his poutine and downplaying the greatness of the shepherd's pie.
