Well, it might...you never know!?

Aussies 2
Tigers 0

Tigers 1
Aussies 0

If Tigers can draw the first test, they have a chance to win the 2nd...IMHO.
If they lose the 1st, then they might lose the 2nd as well...

Mushfiqur believes it's 'best time' to face Australia

Bangladesh's growth as a Test team - both home and away - in recent times has given them the confidence to pick 20 wickets against Australia, according to captain Mushfiqur Rahim. He further said that this was the best time for them to face Australia, having undergone much improvement since the last time Bangladesh hosted them, almost 11 years ago.

O'keefe very unfairly treated, always has been. Haven't seen a lot of sweeps but have to be honest not been overly impressed by him from what I have seen but I'm sure he's improved.

A lot for BD will rely on fizz, shakib, miraz, taskin. If BD can bowl well then they are in with a chance.

What is the strength of this Australia squad compared to the one that last visited for a test series?

Does't matter much how strong the Aussies are! It all depends how many catches Mushy drops and how Tamim build his opening innings ...

If Tamim is out cheaply, most of the time we give up and dropping catches makes it just a bit faster ...

Confidence is our key strength -> we are full of it = we win

It looks like a perennial dilemma. Fingers crossed for your keeper to hold on to his catches, and for the top order not to be dismissed cheaply.

For eons, it had been discussed that mentality is what some or all of the players are lacking.

When will we see this tide turn?

This sounds like a good way to prepare. Do they expect a lot of spin from BD?

And how old are the wickets they are batting on to play the spin?

Yes.
They are considering playing 2 spinners.
Darwin pitch spins a lot,a lot of spinners in the prep game.

I'm am eager to see the new guys of the Aussies playing in their first series.

It's always hard for players to adapt to overseas condition in their first series. Can be make or break.

I'm eagerly waiting for this series. The last test series between the sides was way back in 06, and it was an interesting series too. Bangladesh almost won a test match against them; in fact, it was an epic test match too. Our players will be a bit rusty for sure because they've had a break after the Champions Trophy, but then again, they'll be fresh for the season ahead. There's no excuse for someone such as the Fizz to not perform now. Batting is what interests me the most. Will it be Sarker or Imrul who opens with Tamim because both have done well in their allocated test slots. Most likely one of the openers will take the third slot, and it wasn't too long ago that Isam wrote an article on this on Cricinfo. I know rankings state things differently, but Bangladesh are favourites to win both these test matches provided the players are fit.
