The only person that cleary stands put and would most likely be unaffected by the extra attention is Mashrafe Mortaza.
He has a presence in the field, he has everyone's respect, including the opposition. He performs consistently and has the necessary experience to get the job done.
BCB will be grooming him for the job as soon as the year draws to a close.
Mashrafe remains the best choice for the long term and he publicly admitted to being interested in the position.
Shakib is not interested as he admitted pretty clearly, and Mushi is not experienced enough to take the job. He does not have the authority. Raqibul is a valid choice but he has not been as battle tested and also lacks the authority/charisma to take charge of the whole team.
Mashrafe has a solid resume and anyone watching cricket over the last 6 months know how vital he is to the team and his leadership abilities and likability clearly shows through.
My choice: Mashrafe Bin Mortaza
