Walsh has don't jack! Look at what stupidity he has enhanced among our players. He really doesn't need to do any work when we take so many spinners!

Walsh can only do so much. He can't change our total system.

The coach has to take some responsibility when the bowling has been below average , it's not like these players don't have any potential. We have some bowlers who are bowling at 140kmph and Fizz has also dropped in performance under Walsh. Saifuddin who has been playing outside the national team under domestic coaches showed better improvement and performance in the ODI series

How much lower can the fast bowling get? Cannot get 10 wickets on a green pitch, just another vacation for the bowling coach

Fielders need to take catches and the amount of edges to 3rd and 4th slip was ridiculous

Two catches were offered in one over by Ross Taylor, both dropped. A pacer was bowling. What else you want Walsh to do?

How many edges went flying to 3rd and 4th slip cordon

Better captain and fielders would have kept new zealand comfortably under 300

'How do you bowl the perfect yorker? Just keep practising, over and over'

Walsh can only tell, practice that depends on individuals

Last chance for Mr. Walsh to make an impact. If he fails, he will most likely be jobless after the World cup

Heard BCB is not renewing Walsh's contract. If true, this world cup will be his last mission with us

Prothomalo

Guess that explains why he stopped caring. Honestly, I bet Pont would be interested in a short term WC contract. Why give someone a free ride if he stopped caring?

He is a guy who just wanted to run down his contract.

Walsh really had not much positive impact apart from being a trophy name so that BCB could shake their collar.

When he started, Atahar Ali would ooze with pride mentioning Walsh’s name so regularly.

Although I think he did ok as an interim coach.

About time. Most of our bowlers regressed under his reign. His laid back coaching style does not fit our players who have to be hand held every step of the way. Let's see who BCB find as a replacement.

Walsh just said on sky sports that he enjoyed his work in Bangladesh and there are some good potential in young bowlers. He is out of the job after the World Cup.

Well done coach. I am sure he has left his mark on the pacers.

Goodbye Walsh. Thanks for nothing to be frank. Hope we get a good credible coach this time.

It just didn’t work with walsh. He was a class bowler, but looks like due to his cricketer rep just had ab easy paid job doing JACK. He just doesnt have it in him. Some stars don’t turn into good coaches, some just don’t have the ways to do it well. Look at Lara, he is nowhere to be seen in terms of coaching, am sure one would’ve thought he would be trying to tame coaching and help improve windies ODI. But maybe it’s just not for everyone.

Walsh thanks for bringing your fine legacy over. Am sure the youngsters did feel a good deal of awe looking at you and knowing you were that giant fast pacer who did batsmen a lot of trouble in the 90s and early 00s. But as a coach teaching them well, you didn’t do well at all. Goodbye.
