Like bd turned a corner it's never late for any playrs to turn their game either. Abul might have had bad start as a bowler at test but I believe his bowling will be effective at test cricket and he just recently taken a career best. Boy is pretty tall, hits the deck hard, he can do well at test, needs to be managed well and told to bowl certain channels, outside off and keep persisting with it unlike the great Rubel Hossain who is someone suddenly over loved even at test when he has a pathetic average playing over 22 matches. Abul has much better action to work with in the form of test cricket, he can come good. Needs to be coached by Heath needs time. Simple just bowl outside off make them drive early on. Don't bowl back of the length angling towards leg stump and outside leg like Rubel every over.

Abul needs some more test to be really judged as a bowler. Fit strong tall boys like this we don't have many in the side as a bowler. Need to work on this fella... Need to nurture him well and then he will learn and become better for us.

Completly agree with you. Rubel played so many tests yet never looks convincing at this format. Lets hope abul learns quickly and deliver at his potential best.

This will not happen, I can assure you. Rubel hasn't got the skill set for tests. It's a waste of time playing him. Look at his first class average, it's 63, which means he hasn't proven himself good enough in the longer versions of domestic cricket, on the other hand Al Amin has an average of 28 in first class, Taskin and Mustafizur are among the ones with the best records in domestic first class. Why aren't they in the team?
