Only the 2nd time we've beaten another country in their own backyard after beating England in England.

I don't think this was our best victory abroad though. I would say the 2005 Cardiff win was our greatest, considering the strengths of both teams back then. The 2007 World Cup wins and beating England in England were better.

Thank you SLC for a shitty, and inconsistent series. From messed up grounds to messed up umpires, you knew what you were doing all along. If karma is a thing.

What I take away from this series; it's not too long when we start doing what Jaya, Vaas and Murali did to us. Not too long. Gaps are closing in.

I would say we had a somewhat decent tour. It could have been a lot worse specially since we played without Shakib and Tamim for most of the series. I'm pretty sure if we fielded our best playing 11 the results would have been a lot closer. We should be happy we achieved some big things but at the same time, we need to take a hard look at why we still fell short on multiple occasions.

I would say it was a successful tour if you look at our previous results in the country. Achieved some milestones in reaching 638, 267 partnership, 200, drawn Test, first win in SL, Razzak's 200 etc. Fast bowling was awful throughout the tour and that's what cost us the most on this tour. I think the next time we tour SL the teams will be a lot more close, especially with all of SL best players retiring.

I'd say it was a fairly decent tour. The gap is definitely closing and once SLs older players call it quits, the gap will close even more.

The pace department was obviously very disappointing and rightfully deserve flak. In the 2nd Test they were pretty good. In ODIs and the T20I, they were really poor and that's a worry going in to the Zimbabwe series. Hope Mash, Nazmul, and Shafiul are fit for the Zim tour.

Looking forward to the next time we play the Lankans.

No doubt it was a decent tour and it could have been better if we didn't have so many things working against us...like Injuries, Umpiring, Rain ... Even poor outfield with long grass everything went against us. Well, we benefitted from rain in 2nd ODI, one might say, but it was still a tough ask and boys had to play really well for that steep target...even SL benefitted from rain in first ODI.

In the T20 match, I think BD could have won it had Riyadh not been (unfortunately) run out. As Riyad was hitting it quite well. Riyad and Mominul could have saw the team home.

Anyway, it's been a decent away tour.

Overall, I give Bangladesh 7/10. the missed opportunities hurt man. Not dissatisfied, but not completely pleased either; However Alhamdulillah we did much better than losing everything .
