GP Internet: Can't log in to Messengers, Skype!

Hello,

I use GP Internet using Nokia Handset to connect my laptop for using internet. Yesterday I reinstalled my Wondows XP. I connected to internet using PC Suite. Now I can browse or download easily. But I can't able to log on to MSN Messenger, Yahoo Messenger Or Skype. It's giving error and saying that not Default gatewy not found.

I have checked network setting like IP, Proxy etc. All are directed for Autometically detect settings.

Can anyone help me to get rid of this problem?

I'm using GP internet but I'm using the modem they have provided. The net speed is very slow though.
