A boring cricketer that batted with a broken hand to help the team in the Asia cup match against Sri Lanka. I feel sorry for our cricketers because it only takes one bad game or a series for the fans to forget a decade of contribution.

Although it's nice to see the forum active again for the world cup, it's not the right kind of active.

He is not a boring cricketer but he is taking some time to get set these days. We cant afford such snail pace innings when we chase 350+ runs. I know he is doing the anchor role but hope he can pace his innings properly. 60 SR is not acceptable these days

^He takes his time and then gets out like Ash marka shot. Earlier he would get to his 50 and then will smash away to 100 to make everyone happy. It is becoming costly since he already spent so much ball and then falters while changing gear.

An excellent career in commentary in the horizon for him.

He was never an explosive batsmen. Our media went crazy over him due to some of his early knocks in 07-08 era.

Tamim went through multiple phases in his career. He found the most success in this latest phase (since 2015) due to finally understanding his strength and minimizing his weakness (i.e. coming down the track to break the shackles).

He starts off with a slow SR. But more often than not he always recovers. Problem is in this WC, he hasn't been able to catch up and recover that SR. He is getting out just after that good start and setting his eyes in.

Is he boring? Nahhh, I can watch Tamim bat all day.

“However, I am certain that Liton and Soumya have gotten enough chances. I am sure this is the right time to show the world how good they are,” said Tamim to reporters in Mirpur on Wednesday."

what I want to know is when will Tamim show the world how good he is? Or has the nephew not gotten enough chances? Why is SS, Liton held to a higher standard? No uncle to tell the media otherwise?

This thread is either troll or blasphemy. GTFO. Do you even follow BD cricket? Honestly, the astounding level of ignorance among BD fans is recently more pronounced than it's ever been.
