For some people in our country (sadly), its ingrained in their head that BDeshis not looking 'Bengali' is a good physical trait to have and signifies having good looks I have seen many BDeshis pride themselves when they look Mediterranean/Semetic/'Forsha' as if looking 'Bengali' or being dark is undesirable and ugly.

Its a plague in the subcontinent culture to scramble to look as much light-skinned as possible and the notion that being light-skin = good looking/beatiful and being dark skinned or 'Bengali/Indian' as ugly.

Its no wonder we have so many people in the subcontinent so insecure about their looks and skin colour when this stereotype is flaunted around and reinforced in society. Its also ironic we have BDeshis that are proud to look like 'Pakistanis' due to fairer skin tone but get all defensive and offended when those same people look down on us

Bottom line; we sell ourselves too short.

imo bengalis are very meh compared to other nationalities. Bengali girls tend to cake themselves too much. maybe it depends on the country you live in? Or maybe the age demographics? Bengali people here in Sydney that have grown up here to me are very good looking. Its like a different breed of young bengalis here with most go to the gym, so they are either fit or really buff, also alot are very tall with nice hair but wen i go bd all i ever see is slightly shorter, bald men, either really skinny or with real huge guts even though they are relatively young.

European birds can be really hot. Mad most are snakes. Where I live lots of Lithuanians, Romanians, Cechs.
