Default Group Matches: Australia v Peru | Denmark v France \nNigeria v Argentina | Iceland v Croatia

I don't get why we are all treating Arzani like this helpless little boy we must all protect and keep longer in the bloody A-League. Mbappe and Christian Pulisic are his age and have been playing at big European clubs for a while. A-League is hopeless, it's time to move on.

Also how exactly does Robbie Kruse keep getting games is beyond comprehension. He shouldn't be anywhere near the bench let alone in the starting XI. He is basically the Soumya Sarkar of the Socceroos at this stage.

Start with Arzani instead of the injured Nabbout and Juric instead of the useless Kruse. Bring in Cahill and Maclaren as subs on the second half.

Replace Kruse with Arzani, and maybe Mile with Massimo Luongo.

Start with juric, unfortunately he is the best we have.

Lets not forget the reason why we are all here.

The shot that put football on the map for Australia

We actually fielded our best ever squad. We had the likes of Mark Schwarzer, Harry Kewell, Tim Cahill to name a few. Many playing for top European clubs.

We were a strong enough team to give big European and South American teams a run for their money with that squad (we beat Japan, tied with Croatia- a game we should have also won).

But how can I forget that Italy cheated with a dive to get a penalty in stoppage time in our Round 2 game.

Massimo Luongo wasn't in great form either. Don't think he's done anything remarkable since the 2015 Asia Cup

But even if we win it would be meaningless if Demark beats/ ties with France, which is also a likely outcome.

But honestly, I think this is a nice side from Australia, good to see we picked up where we left off right after that Asia Cup win, sure our qualification wasn't the smoothest, but this is pretty side from Australia, the future is really bright for the Mid Field trio of Leckie,Rogic and Arzani, Behich(Attacking defender but yea),Mooy and Luongo.

It's a dead rubber game for France. But Denmark won't risk puting their luck on the Socceroos-Peru game, so they'll be more desparate and a tie could be the result of that.

Being realistic, we are going out of the WC to Peru tonight anyway. Might as well sub in Cahill on the second half to give him his proper farewell.

You are being really pessimistic
Come on other than the golden generation and bar Kruse and Juric, this is one of the best squads we have sported.

They drew with the Germans 2-2,Colombians 0-0 and Chileans 1-1, not to mention some wins against Hungary,Czech Republic and co.

Cahill and Arzani, the only remnant of the former golden generation and our promising youth. Would be great to see both of them leading our attack.

Soccer players are so fragile. A small touch on then and they resort to the fetal position in agonizing pain.

2 f*cking spuds leading our attack- Juric and Kruse. Honestly Bert is a big f***in c***.

Bring in Cahill and Arzani you moron.

Also the Peru goal should have been called off-side. Iran's goal was not allowed for similar margins.

Same for Risdon. Fellow Western Australian
Really hope we can turn this around. We played really well and dominated the game. We really deserve a win here.
