Default 21-23 July 2002 - BAN vs SL - 1st Test

This sucks. 100/2 to 161 all out. and Murali got 5 wickets.

Just as we feared.

:-(

Default Culprits

The batsmen and our very own pompous and Rajputro. Both of them kept (jinxing by) saying how amazing a start we had despite my repeated appeals.

Default not fair....

Tehsin bhai...if I remember correctly it was the time you were melodiously flexing your vocal chords...when we lost a major wicket!....now people may say that was sheer coincidence...but I think otherwise...people have been known to cast sinister spells with their singing...

Default First Test Day 2

We want Andy Roberts to come to Bangladesh and do a job here.

Talha Jubair had already taken 2 wickets!

Monju had taken 1 wicket.

SriLanka 64/3 in 12.3 overs.

Although run rate is way more expensive for us, but wickets are important to us.

Default Don\'t believe this!

Can't believe Sri Lanka is on the back foot. Well their middle order is still strong enough to most a score of 500 so don't want to congratulate our bowler just yet!

Anyone know of the conditions in Sri Lanka today. It seems that the morning session helped the bowlers out a lot. Either that or Sri Lankan batsman felt sorry for us.

Default Same goes to Lankan batsman

I think the Srilankan batsman gave their wickets away while trying to dominate the Bangladeshi bowling attack.

We will know for sure in tomorrow's papers.

As I have come to know from today's papers about yesterday that Atapattu gave a catch at third slip but the Bangladeshi fielder standing at third slip could not catch it.

Result: Catch dropped.

Default :(

We needed a wicket at least 50 runs ago (it's 180 something for 3).

Compare this to 555/3. Might feel better.
