Rajin is already doing way better than we expected - just don't forget that it was Rajin's first tour for Bangladesh.
Kapali too, is not the most consistent batsman, it is the other batsman like Habibul Bashar and Mohammad Ashraful whose inconsistent performance makes Alok Kapali the most consistent performer for Bangladesh.

Kapali just went through a bad patch in Australia
Kapali is quite a reliable performer. I don't think it does him justice to suggest that the only reason that we consider him consistent is because the others in the team are so inconsistent. I think Kapali has given me more to cheer about in the last year than any other player. Its only recently that Bashar, Rajin and Rafiq have been getting into the act.

Kapali is VERY consistent, his place in the team is assured for a very long time.

Not in Test.
In test, so far Alok played 12 matches, scored 460 runs in 24 innings with an average of 20. His highest ever score is 48. That is not a dependable test batsman figure. Rokon, Hannan, Golla, Bashar, Rajon all got better performence than him in tests.
As for ODI, Alok kapali is undoubltedly the best BD batsman along with Rajin. He has 639 runs in 27 innings of 28 matches he played, with highest 89 not out! his average of 25 is higher than all except Rajin and Anwar (who should play ODI regularly, I never understood why we dropped him from ODI).
