I don't understand WTF happened to them. They used to show every match in previous occasions (unless there were two matches at the same time). Now they're showing only one match per day (yesterday they didn't show anything at all). I've heard that they will broadcast only 25 matches. They didn't show the 1st match of Argentina and I don't know whether they will show today's Brazil vs Croatia match or not. I guess all people like me who have only BTV are really pissed. I bought a TV tuner few days ago to watch 1:00 AM matches.......

I think espnstar bought the right for worldcup and they gave btv only 25 games as they wanted people to see the game on their channels....

BTV, I meand BTV execs are losing it. There's nothing like watching World Cup matches in Bangladesh. Tension with the results, electricity magic, adda and what not

The match schedule is so beautiful this time with no overlaping. It's a shame. Well BTV has always been unpredictable anyway, no?

All those protests from students wanting to postpone their exams in order to watch the World Cup and now they find thaey can only watch a handful of games...so so unlucky. And they had created such a fuss as well.

Just Vuya kotha.
China Central Television (CCTV) is a govt. run national broadcasting corporation (just like BTV) and they are showing each and every game of the world cup. Last time I checked, China was still in Asia.

Very true. I am watching the games from my laptop with live feed from CCTV 5 (using Tvants). So far CCTV has shown all the games live.

Due to electricity crisis BTV may be saving their colleague's *** by not showing the matches. If BTV was showing the match and due to electricity crisis some body can not watch AL would not be needed to start "Jalao Podao Goditey agun Dao" Andolon

Matha thik-e asey....khub beshi rokom-e thik asey.
Just consider the context in which I made the comparison.
It's not matter of comparison between Bangladesh and China.
BTV demanded they are the "TOP" in Asia in showing world cup match.
When someone claims themselves "TOP" in Asia--they have to be really top in Asia beating China, Japana etc.

Should I really have to explain even this simple logic?

Bother I know your ‘matha khub beshi rokom-e thik asey.’ Eaktu moja korar jonno BTV’r pokkho niya ovaba bolachilam. No hard feeling. Maybe BTV’s boundary of Asia is limited to South Asian region, and they do not count China, Japan etc as a part of Asia!

You may try but do you think that will reach to BTV officials?

Really surprising BTV is not showing the whole world cup. Luckily I m in the UK and can watch all the matches live.

IF BTV does not get the rights to telecast the WC matches live---in that case, BTV can Telecast the Highlights Immediately after the game. Anyway Something is better than nothing...
