last time I checked, pakistan was not the only other cricketing nation in the world....
If other nation doesnt want to play than that is because we are weak as a team, if our cricketing skills improve than other teams will play eventually... and this has nothing to do with pakistan....

The whole fiasco is really a shame to be honest.

Either you go or you dont. Make up your mind.
But don't go around acting like a teenage drama queen every six months about the same issue.

PCB was always going to try bring international teams in their country. It is in their own interest.
A weaker cricketing nation like Zim or Bangladesh is their best bet and they would naturally first persuade and if they have to as last resort, would intimidate or bully to some extend, which PCB already did. But that does not mean that we have do yes, no, very good every time.

Even though we are doing the right thing by not going to Pakistan, the board's childish behaviour is really making us look like idiots. Can't even handle one single matter with professionalism.

IMO its great news. Not just because of this Pakistan tour fiasco leading towards a break of tie with them, but also now BPL & overall BD cricket crazy ppl will route to learn support other than them. Overall for betterment, we were always needed to get rid of this dependency of Pakistani players. BPL will struggle for sure, but will prevail if the system runs properly, cause money always talks. In just one year, you guys will see them begging for chance to play here as they are doing atm for IPL.

Zaka Ashraf reacts sternly to Bangladesh delaying tour

In the article, "Pakistan, he said, will not sacrifice their interests for those who do not honour their words." Someone should give an interview about this comment. BD supported PAK's candidacy and PAK was supposed to support BD this time. Who went back on its word and bring a new condition of a tour? Throwing stones from glass houses?

Just for your ref, "domestic violence" refers to violence inside the families. Like Husband, or MinL or other family members engaging into brutalities against the wife or vise versa....

What I posted connects to, internal security situation of the country....finally I don't know if you are upset with the news .... I'm damn happy that BCB finally gathered the guts to say no.... Possibly ICC didn't want to provide officials.... haven't read the full report yet...

Great News....I don't mind if that affects BPL...

I disagree to an extent. PCB deserves to be treated in this foul manner. They are hardly any different from BCCI in terms of how they treat us. There is almost nothing but pure lies, bullshit, and entitlement coming from their mouths. Be it Ijazz Butt or Zaka Ashraf.

1) Pakistan is the reason Bangladesh got Test status.
2) Pakistan have always supported BD.
3) Bangladesh cancelled a tour in 2009 (we had legit internal issues at the time and PCB already retaliated by cancelling a U-19 tour for no reason).
4) Using the ICC presidency as an extortionary tool.
5) Then using BPL and player NOCs as an extortionary tool.
6) Ashraf saying they will get "better" teams to tour.

The only mistake BCB have made is not giving a straight answer on two seperate occaisions. And it was after PCB had committed all those infractions. Wholly justified in my opinion.

PCB is also wholly delusional if they think they are doing their players favors by keeping them out of BPL. Even late or fractional payments is better than QeA Trophy paychecks on time + bonus. Also, no harm will come to BCB's reputation based on their dealings on this PAK tour. In fact other boards are probably impressed at the gall and generosity.

Yep. BCB should've just declined. Really unprofessional, but what would you expect with clowns like Kamal on board.

Although PCB is just being a bunch of a-holes with the blackmailing. And it's stupid to deny domestic players BPL permission, since they make quite a decent amount from BPL themselves. And BCB won't lose a hell lot of money, stadiums will still be packed without Pak players.

How times have changed! For some reason this guy Ashraf's threat reminds me of Saddam's threats against US forces.

Whoever will think to tour Pakistan now, will prove BCB's bad judgement about Pakistan and will project oposition to us. I'm sure Zaka Ashraf wont find better team than Bangladesh to tour them, and even if some small associate team decides to go there, BCB shouldn't support them (no BPL contract/future LOI tour which we do more often than others) as well. Time to play ball games. way to go Mr. Papon.
