 শুরু সেই ব্রিটিশ শাসনামলের আগে থেকে। স্বজাতির বিরুদ্ধে ষড়যন্ত্র। উদ্যেশ্য একটাই, গদি দখল। যার দরুন বাংলার শেষ স্বাধীন নবাব সিরাজের অকাল প্রস্থান এবং তৎকালীন সর্গীয় বাংলায় ব্রিটিশের শাসন। নব্য কৈশর পেরুনো নবাবের শাসনদক্ষতা ও ব্যাক্তিগত আচরন নিয়ে বর্তমানে মতানৈক্য থাকতে পারে। কিন্তু ব্রিটিশদের প্ররচনায় অতিনিকটাত্তীয় এবং ক্ষমতালোভী দ্বিতীয় শ্রেনী কর্মচারিদের হিংসা-লালসায় শুধুমাত্র নবাবই যে প্রান খুইয়েছিলেন তা নয়। সেই সময়ের সেই ভুলের মাশুল পরবর্তি ২০০ বছর ধরে গুনতে হয়েছে বাংলাকে। হটাও,পোরাও,মেরে ফেল, বংশ-নির্বংশ করে দে...... থামেনি ক্ষমতা হরন আর হিংসা-বিদ্বেশের সেই ভাইরাস। স্বাধীনতার বীর নায়কদের স্বাধীন দেশেই জীবন দিতে হয়েছে স্বপরিবারে,জেলে,লো কচোক্ষূর আড়ালে। কিভাবে একটা দেশকে পঙ্গু করে রাখা যায় তা বুদ্ধিজীবি হত্যা করে পাকিস্তান ও ঊজ্জল দৃষ্টান্ত স্থাপন করেছে। যেই শাসকেই দেশপ্রেমের লক্ষ্যে দেশ গড়তে গিয়েছে তাকেই দিতে হয়ছে প্রান। বেচে আছে এবং ক্ষমতার মনোপোলি নিয়ে ব্যাস্ত তারাই যারা দেশপ্রেম তোয়াক্কা না করে দুর্নীতিতে সিদ্ধহস্ত। হটাও,পোরাও,মেরে ফেল, বংশ-নির্বংশ করে দে...... শুধু কি রাজতন্ত্রে? যারাই সম্ভাবনার আলোকবর্তিকা নিয়ে এই বাংলাকে নতুন করে ঢেলে সাজাতে চেয়েছেন তাদেরকেই হেয় প্রতিপন্ন করার একটা নিম্নমানসিকতা লক্ষ্য করা যায়। নোবেল পুরস্কার প্রাপ্তি নিয়ে যা হচ্ছে তা বলাবাহুল্যই। সঠিক লোকটি ভাত পায়না, পায় দুর্নীতিবাজ। হটাও,পোরাও,মেরে ফেল, বংশ-নির্বংশ করে দে...... এই হটাও,পোরাও,মেরে ফেল, বংশ-নির্বংশ করে দে...... ভাইরাসের আক্রমনে গোটা জাতিও যেন আক্রান্ত। নইলে প্রতিদিন এত হত্যাকান্ড ঘটে যে মনে হয় দেশ ছেড়ে পালাই। সবাই যেন 007...licensed to kill ! চুন থেকে পান খসলেই পিতৃপ্রদত্ত প্রাণটাকে হারাতে হবে। নাহ, ভুল না করলেও চলে, মানুশের প্রান এখন বাজারের প্রত্তিকেজি ২৭০টাকার মাংসের থেকেও কম। কারন ঐ মাংস খাওয়া যায়, মানুশের মাংস খাওয়া যায় না, শুধু হত্যা করেই বিরত্ব দেখানো যায়! আর হরতালে ? "আমার বাপের রাস্তায় গাড়ি চালিয়েছিস কোন দুঃখে?" ভাংগ গাড়ি, লাগাও আগুন... হটাও,পোরাও,মেরে ফেল, বংশ-নির্বংশ করে দে...... বিসিবি-র কার্যাবলি,কর্মদক্ তা,ন্যায়নিষ্ঠা কতটা গ্রহনযোগ্য তা সচেতন ক্রিকেটামোদীরা জানেন। কিছু দুর্নীতিগ্রস্থ মালিকাধীন তৃতীয় শ্রেনীর তথাকথিত সংবাদপত্রের রং-চং মাখা ভিত্তিহীন অপসংবাদের গ্রহনযোগ্যতা নিয়েও প্রশ্ন উঠে বারবার। আর হুজুগে ফ্যানরা তো আছেনেই। তাদের ক্রিকেট ভক্তি ইসিজি মেশিনের মনিটরে হৃদ স্পন্দনের মতই ! কখনো উচু, কখনো নিচু। মাঝে মাঝে তো হৃদ স্পন্দন পাওয়াই যায় না। হায় হায় গেল গেল সব গেল! প্রিয় খেলোয়াড়ের সাফল্যে উচ্চমার্গীয় প্রসংসাবাণী আর খুত দেখলেই হায় হায় গেলো গেলো গেলো। হটাও,পোরাও,মেরে ফেল, বংশ-নির্বংশ করে দে...... সাকিব আল হাসান। ক্রিকেট বিশ্বে একজনই। বিশ্বের নামধারী যত ক্রিকেট জহুরি অর্থাৎ IPL, County Cricket এর পর্যবেক্ষক আছেন তারা ঠিকই চিনেছেন এই রত্ন। কিন্তু চিনেও নানারকম ষরযন্ত্র,মিথ্যাচা ,বানোয়াট তথ্যে এই রত্নকে কলুষিত করার অপপ্রয়াসে লিপ্ত আমরা। কি করেছেন এই মানুশটা? ICL- এর দালালের সাথে নিজের দলের খেলোয়াড়দের যোগাযোগ করানো? ম্যাচের পর ম্যাচ একি শটে আউট? হাবাগোবার মতো চালচলন? আজেবাজে খেয়ে ভুরি বাড়ানো? প্রথম শ্রেনীতে বিমান ভ্রমনের আবদার? নাকি দুর্নীতি? মাদকচোরাচালান,হত্ া......? ১) দেশে বিশেষ করে ঢাকায় এখন থেমে থেমে ২৪ ঘন্টা বৃষ্টি হচ্ছে, প্র্যাকটিস ম্যাচগুলো পন্ড হচ্ছে। নামমাত্র ২ ঘন্টার প্র্যাকটিসে না গেলে কি বড় রকমের ক্ষতি হয়ে যায়? নতুন কোচের সান্নিধ্য পেতে বিশেষ ২/৪ চাটূকার ঠিকই ব্যাস্ত, সাকিবের সেটার দরকার নাই ভাই। টানা ক্রিকেট ম্যাচ ও বিদেশ ভ্রমনে ক্লান্ত অধিনায়কের ছুটি লাগাই স্বাভাবিক। এখানে বিশৃঙ্খলার গন্ধ খোজে তারাই যারা ময়লা ঘাটাতেই পারদর্শী। সাকিব তো মেসেজ দিয়েছেই। কেন এতো ত্যানা পেচানো? নিয়ম শৃঙ্খলার অধ্যায় টানলে পরিক্ষার খাতায় গোল-আলু পেতেন এই বিসিবির ডাকসাইটে মাতব্বররাই! ২। আকরাম খান এন্ড কো দল নির্বাচন নিয়ে কম নাটক করেননি। টেকনিকাল কমিটির কথা উল্লেখ করেও পরবর্তিতে অস্বীকার, নাকি এটা মিডিয়ার কারসাজি? যাই হোক পানি ঘোলা হয়েছে মঞ্চে নায়ক তথা সাকিবের আগমনের আগেই। এখন সব দোষ সাকিবের ঘাড়েই ফেলা হচ্ছে বিভিন্ন কারনে। দল নির্বাচনে অবশ্যই অধিনায়কের মতামত গুরুত্বপুর্ন। ম্যাচ হারলে তাকেই বেশি জবাবদীহি করতে হয়। সেক্ষেত্রে নির্বাচকদের তাকে উপেক্ষা করা উচিত নয়। দুপক্ষের মধ্যে যোগাযোগ ঘাটতির কারনে ভুল বোঝার অবকাশ থাকতে পারে সেক্ষেত্রে আকরাম-নান্নুর কাছ থেকে বিজ্ঞ ও সিনিয়রের ন্যায় আচরন প্রত্যাশিত ছিল। কিন্তু দেখা গেল তারা সাকিবকে "মিত্থ্যুক" আখ্যায়িত করে কাঁদা ছোড়ার ইঙ্গিত দিচ্ছেন। বর্ণিল ভক্তরাও রঙ বদলাতে শুরু করেছে। আর নিম্নশ্রেনীর মিডিয়াতো আছেই তিলকে তাল করার জন্যে। আর কি ? হটাও,পোরাও,মেরে ফেল, বংশ-নির্বংশ করে দে...... ক্রিকেট ১১ জনের খেলা হলেও এখানে দু-একজনের ভুমিকা পুরো দলকেই ভোগ করতে হয়। সেটাও বিভিন্ন দলে বিভিন্ন রকম। অস্ট্রেলিয়ায় এন্ড্র সাইমন্ডের জায়গায় আরও ১০ এন্ড্রু সাইমন্ড অপেক্ষা করে। আসিফ-আমির-আফ্রিদি খেললেই কি না খেললেই কি? তাদের রাস্তায় আরো ৪-৫টা আমির ঘুরে। কিন্তু আমাদের ক্রিকেটের পাইপলাইন ঢাকা ওয়াসার মত । পানির প্রবাহ নাই বললেই চলে। আসলেই নাই। বুঝতে হবে, ১০জন ICL গামী বিদ্রোহী ক্রিকেটার বা রকিবুল হাসান থেকে সাকিবের গুরুত্ব অনেক বেশি। সাকিব এ দেশের ক্রিকেটে দেবরুপী অভতার। অদক্ষ্য বিসিবির কর্মকর্তার বিদ্বেশ এবং কুচক্রিমহলের আস্ফালনে এই সাকিব যদি দেশান্তরী হয়ে কেভিন পিটারসন, হেনরী ওলোঙ্গা, ইয়ন মর্গানের মতো অন্য দলে যোগ দেয় তার খেসারত সেই বাংলার শেষ স্বাধীন নবাবের মতো এদেশকে যুগ যুগ ধরে দিতে হবে। কিছু ব্যাপার খামখেয়লি না দূরদর্শী বিচক্ষনের দৃষ্টিতে দেখুন। সামান্য ঘটনা অনেক দূর পর্যন্ত গড়াতে পারে। যেমন গড়িয়েছিল ওয়েস্ট ইন্ডিজের বিপক্ষে, অন্তকলহের জের টেনে দ্বিতীয় সারির দল নামিয়ে টেস্ট এ বাংলাওয়াশ হয়ে!!! জিম্বাবুয়ে সিরিজের আগে এসব কেন হচ্ছে? দয়া করে বন্ধ করুন এসব! -ম্যাজিক বয় ps: a thread for supporting Shakib opposing blind allegation against him Last edited by magic boy; July 22, 2011 at 05:40 AM..

I think Shakib might be at fault for not coming into the training without prior notification. But I am completely against all the character assassination attempt by the media. I am completely behind Shakib and he has my full support.

Magic Boy bhai,
I'm a big fan of yours and with you on this one. But then again, Shakib's favourite movie is 'Mean Girls' and I'm not very sure about his mental/emotional maturity level. I kind of feel like he's still a teenager (emotionally) and he's a long way to go before he learns the art of true leadership. But then again, he's my favourite player and I try to watch all his games even it's 3 AM at night. The selectors have my respect but they should've handled the issue more carefully, rather than creating a mess. Expected more from Shakib, Akram, Nannu and Bashar.

How about we start there? It is already ingrained and inculcated in this tel-makhano culture of ours where if someone doesn't address the elders with title then he is held accountable of high treason. Yet, many times here in states I have seen professors tell students to call them by their first name. To translate something similar in BD? Phhyaah. For Shakib to follow professional suit one must lay down professional protocol IN ENTIRETY. I mean 'ek dik diya apnee chaben Lotus mamare kek khawaye dite, onno dike Shakib jodi text pathay 'obodhorota' kore' then it shows double standard. All in all. We needed this awakening. Hopefully we can use this as a leverage to set up totally PROFESSIONAL system where an ATHLETE is scouted, recruited, hired and given a JOB to do where he must abide by certain laws and rules and follow them accordingly. Nothing more; nothing less. All these altu-faltu: amader desher shontan!!! Banglar gouroub!! Shey ki roja rakhenaki?? Shey ki fool hata shirt pore naki genjir nije motshokonnar tatttuu ase!! --yeah all these unnecessary baggages should be trimmed and get rid off. Shakib has faults. He is not perfect. I wont point out who's right or who's wrong. No doubt Shakib is our pride and honor. We all love him, respect him. Now its his duty that he maintains our love and respect. I also support Shakib for his good dead but behaving like some "arrogant spoiled kid" will only increase hatred and disrespect towards him. There are lots of examples where many famous celebs lost people's love and respect just because of their "misbehavior" and "arrogant" attitude despite of their talents and skills. If Media is exploiting his image then why does he give them chances by commenting foul talks. Shakib is a responsible person, so should behave like that.
PS: read my signature. Its meant for all but specially for Shakib.

গতকাল পর্যন্ত সাকিব আমার নিঃশর্ত সমর্থন পেয়েছে অধিনায়ক হিসাবে। আজও আমি তাকে সমর্থন করে যাচ্ছি তবে তা পুর্বের মত শর্তহীন নয়। বাংলাদেশ দলের একজন সদস্য হিসাবে সাকিবের ভুমিকা অত্যন্ত গুরুত্বপুর্ণ। সে আমাদের প্রথম বিশ্বমানের প্লেয়ার। তার একক চেষ্টায় আমরা অনেক হারা ম্যাচ জিতে গেছি। বাংলাদেশ দলে তার প্লেয়ার হিসাবে ভুমিকা নিয়ে কোন প্রশ্নের কোন অবকাশ নেই। কিন্তু অধিনায়ক হিসাবে তার যোগ্যতা নিয়ে প্রথম থেকেই প্রশ্ন উঠছে। বিভিন্ন ব্যাপারে তিনি নিজেকে না না ভাবে বির্তর্কিত করে যাচ্ছেন। তার বিকেএসপির সহপাঠিদের প্রতি সুনজরের কথা সর্বজন বিদিত। রকিবুলকে দলে নেয়া নিয়ে অনেকবারই বিভিন্ন ঘটনা ঘটেছে যার শেষ নিদর্শন হলো নির্বাচকদের সাথে তার বর্তমান বিবাদ। আকরাম তাকে ফোন করেছেন এই ব্যাপার টা আমি বিশ্বাস করছি। একবার মাত্রই কথা হয়েছে হয়তো যেখানে আলোচনার কোন সুযোগ ছিল না। কিন্তু আকরাম কি করতে পারতেন এই ব্যাপারে? নিজে লন্ডনে উড়ে যেতেন সাকিবের সাথে আলোচনার জন্য? নাকি সাকিবকে আসতে বলতেন খেলা ছেড়ে দিয়ে? মনে রাখতে হব যে সাকিব নির্বাচন কমিটির সদস্য না। এই কাজের জন্য প্রতিমাসে অনেক টাকা বেতন দিয়ে নির্বাচন কমিটি রাখা হয়েছে। বিশ্বকাপের আগে প্রাক্তন খেলোয়াড়দের ব্যাপারে তার কটু মন্তব্যের কথা মনে হয় সবারই স্মরণ আছে। প্রাক্তণ খেলোয়াড়দের অনেকেরই আচরনও প্রশংসার যোগ্য ছিল না। কিন্তু তার মানে এই না যে সাকিব তাদের খেলার মান নিয়ে ব্যক্তিগত আক্রমন করবে। আমরা অনেকেই আমাদের পিতাদের চেয়ে ক্যারিয়ারের ব্যাপারে বেশী সফল। কিন্তু তাই বলে কি আমরা আমাদের পিতাদের যোগ্যতাকে কটাক্ষ্য করবো? তারা তাদের সীমাবদ্ধতার মধ্যে পুরো মাত্রায় সফল ছিলেন। আমরাও একই ভাবে আমাদের মত সফল। কিন্তু ভুললে হবে না যে তাদের রেখে যাওয়া প্লাটফর্মের উপরেই আমরা দাঁড়িয়ে আছি। অধিনায়ক মানে শুধু অন ফিল্ড অধিনায়ক না। অধিনায়কের অনেক দায়িত্ব। মাঠে, মাঠের বাইরে, পরিকল্পনায় সবকিছুতেই তার দায়িত্ব আছে। তিনি প্রাকটিসে না গিয়ে এস এম এস পাঠিয়েছেন যে তিনি অনেক ক্লান্ত আই পি এল এবং কাউন্টি খেলার জন্য। তাই তিনি ২৪ তারিখ পর্যন্ত ছুটি চেয়েছিলেন। কিন্তু ২৪ তারিখের মধ্যে জিম্বাবয়ের জন্য প্রাকটিস শেষ হয়ে যাবে। তার মানে অধিনায়ক হিসাবে তার এই দায়িত্ব কাজ করে নাই। আই পি এল বা কাউন্টিতে সাকিবকে বিসিবি খেলতে পাঠায় নাই। তিনি নিজে কন্ট্রাক্ট করে গেছেন। তার মুল দায়িত্ব জাতীয় দলের জন্য খেলা। এইটাই প্রথম এবং প্রধান। আই পি এল বা কাউন্টি কোন কিছুর বিনিময়েই এই ব্যাপারে কম্প্রোমাইজ করা যাবে না। আমি এখনও তার সাথে আছি। কারন তিনি আল্প বয়স্ক, আশা করছি সময়ের সাথে তিনি ভুল গুলো শুধরে ফেলতে পারবেন। দোয়া করছি তিনি যেন আরেকটু বিনয়ী হতে শিখেন।বিনয় মানুষকে ছোট করে না। বিনয়ই মানুষকে তার নিজের চেয়ে বড় করে তোলে।

আমার বাংলাদেশের ক্রিকেট এর সব চেয়ে প্রিয় খেলোয়ার হচ্ছে সাকিব । আমি ভিশন অন্ধ ওর ব্যাপারে । আমি কেনো মনে হয় পুরো বাংলাদেশ-ই অন্ধ । তবু বলছি, ওকে শাস্তি দিলে বিসিবি দিক, কিন্তু সাংবাদিকরা একটু বেশি রকম বাড়াবাড়ি করে এই রকম বিষয় গুলো নিয়ে । এটা বন্ধ হওয়া উচিত । আমার মনে হয় সাকিব কে নিয়ে মানুষকে ভুল বোঝানো হচ্ছে । যতটা না তার চেয়ে বেশি রং মাখিয়ে দেখানো হচ্ছে । নিয়ম ভঙ্গ করলে সবারই শাস্তি হওয়া উচিত, তা সেটা সাকিব-ই হোক আর অন্য কেউ হোক । দেশ এর মানুষ যে ওকে অসীম ভালবাসে তার কৃতজ্ঞতা হিসাবে সাকিবের কাছে বিনয় ও ভদ্রতা আমরা সবাই আশা করি ।
আমাদের "সাকিব অধ্যায়" দীর্ঘায়িত হোক ।

I do accept and respect your logic. I do believe the same. But the summery of my post is no one is above the team. And it doesn't hurt anyone to be polite. I don't want a controversial great from Shakib. I want Shakib to someone like Tendulkar who is known for his politeness too.

Shakib has been playing non stop cricket for a while now, I think he deserves a break. Missing a couple of days training will not cause major damage to his abilities. Let him rest a bit, and get him fresh for Zimbabwe tour. I think the media is just pissed off at him because of his attitude, if a 22 year old can stand up to one of the most powerful guys in the country and say a few harsh words, he must have said something to the reporters at some stage as well. And we need a captain who is harsh, "piti piti" type er captain diye ghorar dim hobe. We need someone who is not scared to speak his mind and say what he thinks is right and should have been done. Let the media talk, one 10 wicket haul and these same writers will start blabbering about how Shakib is the greatest thing to hit our country blah blah blah. I am with you Shakib and every other player that has represented Bangladesh. These guys are our pride, one of the few things that brings smiles to our faces.
