Source: http://www.bangladesherkhela.com

Bashar's 224 is the highest so far. How much did Nazim score ? Even numbers on that page seems to be in Bangla.

I think Khaled Masud and Hassanuzzaman (of khulna) also scored 200 ...

Congrats Nazim ... at last the third of the "Three promising from CTG" shines

Why should I miss the chance for some self promotion

This is the seventh double century in Bangladesh cricket (one of which was scored by a Pakistani - Imran Farhat). For more details see http://www.banglacricket.com/alochon...d.php?tid=6780

These were last updated before the Zim series.

Congrats to Nazim Uddin !!

Another from the U19 brigade that toured England. Did'nt do all that well in England.

Sylhet may have had a under strenght bowling attack ??

Sylhet is missing bowlers Tapash, Nazmul, Enamul Jr., Rajin, & Alok.

Double century against any bowling is awesome. It would be a lot more commendable if those top level bowlers played.

Default Nazimuddin: 204 Not Out

Nazimuddin scored 204 not out in National League match against Sylhet. Cricinfo records shows that he played for Bangladesh-A and Bangladesh U-19 in the past. How good is this Nazimuddin? Does anybody knows about his past track records?

Here is what I found in Cricinfo:

FIRST-CLASS

Match: 12
Innings: 22
Not Out: 2
Runs: 550
Highest: 140
Average: 27.50
Strike Rate: 48.33
100s: 2
50s: 1

LIST A LIMITED OVERS

Match: 10
Innings: 10
Not Out: 0
Runs: 67
Highest: 16
Avergae: 6.70
Strike Rate: 38.95
100's: 0
50's: 0

His one-day performance is terrible, but he played much much better in longer version.

If this is correct before the last match then his stats now would be;

1st class

Match:13
Innings: 23
Not Out: 3
Runs: 754
Highest: 204 NO
Average: 35.2

Default No. of Double Centuries in NCL: 5 or 6? (it is 6 not 5)

Bangladesherkhela.com has said in their report that today's Nazimuddin's double century is fifth ever in NCL

http://www.bangladesherkhela.com/def...&iCategoryID=1

But i think it is the 6th one. In their list they missed khaled Mashud's double century in NCL (i cant remember the year).

To verify this you can check the first class career of Khaled Mashud provided by cricinfo.com

http://www.cricinfo.com/db/PLAYERS/B...SHUD_25002201/

Just wanted to let you know guys......PAILOT is my favourite

Chairman,

I just just noticed one more example of similar thread----"Ehsan Mani: 'To talk about a two-tier system is wrong'" and "Mani dismisses two-tier Test cricket". Could you please merge them too.

It was the 5th in NCL because the double by Shariar Hossain was in the Pakistan league.

Whats the news on Nazimuddin?

Did he break the all time record of 224 (by Bashar)?
