End of intercontinental cup,where now?

Nial o'brien let the cat out of the bag when he said the intercontinental final is the FINAL game of the intercontinental cup.
I guess its now up 2 associate boards to organize tours without icc support.
icc now lost the plot.

No reason why more teams can't play top flight cricket, at least ODIs and T20s. What's the ICC worried about? That someone will score 430 off 50 or 360 off 40 against the weaker teams? Already done.

Everyone should have to qualify from their respective region for the World Cups. Cut down on the bilateral series bull crap unless it's for Tests. Play shorter tournaments more often, spread out the WC qualification games. Get as many teams into the WC as possible. Let Ireland, Scotland, the Netherlands and Afghanistan hand our sorry behinds to us and put us in our place.
